I’ve been extremely impressed with this Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 that I happen to come across with from ad from a famous footballer. The 25,000Pa suction is noticeably powerful, and it does a great job picking up dust, dirt, hair, and other debris from both hard floors and carpets. The mopping performance is also excellent and leaves the floors looking much cleaner than I expected from a robot vacuum. What I especially like is how hands-off the whole process is. The robot does a great job navigating around the house, avoiding obstacles, and returning to the base when it needs to recharge or be maintained. The self-cleaning and maintenance features of the dock are extremely convenient and save a lot of time. The app is easy to use, and I like being able to customize cleaning areas and schedules. After getting everything set up, I can basically let it do its thing while I take care of other things. Overall, this is a fantastic robot vacuum and mop. The combination of strong suction, effective mopping, smart navigation, and the automated dock makes it feel like a significant upgrade from a traditional robot vacuum. Definitely a 5-star product and well worth considering if you want a truly hands-off cleaning experience.

I've been using Roomba vacuums and mops for about fifteen years now, and truly loved them. My Braava mop recently wasn't working well, so I started researching again for the best robot mop. Anytime I've done that before, it was always a Roomba product that seemed to be rated best, but this time it was this Dreame dual vacuum and mop - I hadn't even heard of Dreame. Based on reviews and price, I decided to go for it. I am LOVING this machine! It cleans significantly more thoroughly AND faster than any Roomba I've had. My main floor is probably around 1500sq. ft. My previous Roomba took about 6 hours cleaning it. The Dreame takes just over 2 hours, and results in a noticeably cleaner floor. I have a lady that comes and cleans part of my house once a month, and she thought I must have done an extra intensive clean of my floors for an event. I hadn't told her anything about the new machine, but she noticed a significant difference in the cleanliness of my floors. It's great with picking up dog hair that is everywhere in my house. It has a strong suction for rugs - the door mats used to still have dust that I could shake out after Roomba went over them, not anymore. And I used to have to get down and scrub the area around my dog's food and water dishes because Roomba couldn't mop up that mess. I haven't had to do that in the two months or so since I've had Dreame. I thought it was really strange that it didn't come with the container for the cleaning solution, but thought I'd try it for awhile just with water. So far, I haven't found a reason to pay extra for that container or the solution! Water alone is doing a thorough job! The timer feature works very well, and I appreciate that it sends me a text notice when a particular part needs cleaning or adjustment or whatever. And it includes a link to show where that part is and what to actually do. The communication of the maintenance of the machine has been very good so far. I used to have Roomba run daily, but I have Dreame just running three days a week, and I have cleaner floors! It DOES talk loudly, such as, "Cleaning mop pads." But you can time it to run when the talking won't bother you. Overall, it's a good bit quieter than my Roomba. It gets louder when it's vacuuming rugs, but most of my floor is hard wood or tile, so it's mainly relatively quiet. The two aspects that were better with Roomba were that Roomba fit under my couches to clean (this is too tall), and it was significantly easier to clean hair out of the omnidirectional wheel and brushes of Roomba. I paid $550 for this, and it has been WELL worth the money!

This vacuum isn't a great choice if you have pets. The dust bin in the robot is tiny. We have found we have to empty it manually a couple of times per run. Otherwise dirt and hair get packed in too tightly to be emptied automatically. (We have 1 dog, 3 cats.) The phone app is mediocre with some bad UI choices and laggy buttons. English translations are sometimes awkward. The robot seems to find its way around our house well. Mopping is great. Vacuum suction is good but not amazing.

I’ve been really happy with the Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 so far. It does a great job with both vacuuming and mopping, and the navigation is very accurate. It moves around furniture smoothly and cleans the edges better than I expected. The self-cleaning and auto-empty features are very convenient and save me a lot of time. The app is also easy to use, and I can customize different rooms and cleaning settings. Overall, it has made daily cleaning much easier. Definitely worth it if you want a powerful robot vacuum with very little maintenance.

Honestly, I was hesitant about the price tag, but after two weeks, I can't imagine my daily routine without it. We have a shedding dog and a toddler, so our floors used to feel constantly gritty by midday. The 25,000Pa suction is incredible—it pulled deep-set dog hair out of our living room rug that our upright vacuum always missed. What impressed me most, though, is the robotic arm: it actually reaches right into 90-degree corners and hugs the baseboards, leaving zero dirty gaps. The base station makes it truly set-and-forget. It washes the mops with hot water, dries them with no damp smell, and empties the bin without clogging. It’s also smart enough to steer around scattered toys and phone chargers without getting stuck under dining chairs.

I used to vacuum my house every couple of days with a Dyson V15 detect. That’s a great vacuum and the laser shows you all the dirt, however it cannot get everywhere easily like under the bed or into corners or around chair legs etc. I’m genuinely amazed after I ran this dreame machine for the first time and the legs of the chairs at my dining room table were no longer fluffy. He (his name is Florbi-Wan Kenobi) picked up all dirt, fur and crumbs throughout the house. On top of that, mopping up all the little dirty spots on the tile you kind of just left behind has made a day and night difference on my floors. I didn’t expect much from a robot, as I used to have a a Roomba years ago, but on the app, you can see this little guy’s trail and every single spot he as vacuumed and mopped. It’s extremely easy to use. It took a bit to initially set up, but after that it’s a simple click of a button or a set schedule. For me with furrier floors, you can tell it to dispense fur more often than normal to ensure great suction through the clean. I would say the battery is great; my first time using it, it vacuumed and mopped 756sqft in 125 minutes; all of that tile besides 2 small bedrooms and a walk in closet. It did have to charge once for that which is included in that time, however I did tell it to pay high attention to detail around furniture and corners. Today I moved out of my rental and he vacuumed and mopped 681sqft on a high suction power than the first clean, and the battery only dropped to 59% and he did it in 65 minutes (I had 1 bedroom and the walk in closet kept closed, but added a tile bathroom to the task). So when thinking about battery, also think about how much detail you are going to have him do on his scheduled cleans. You can even schedule some cleans with higher details maybe once a week and then have him do quick cleans daily or every other day, but details will definitely drain him faster and make the cleaning process longer. Hopefully that helps, but again, I would definitely recommend to anyone with any floor type and even with a pet.

Really happy with this vacuum.The app is very easy to use .It maps out the house, set a cleaning schedule, really convenient. The 25000pa suction power is great. It can vacuum and mop at the same time.it Automatically recognizes the floor and carpet. When it goes onto the carpet, the mop lifts up, so the carpet stays dry .The extendable part does a wonderful job cleaning along the edges then my old one. I'm very satisfied with it !
