Installation is easy. However, it doesn't charge my ring doorbell. I had it on for 2 day straight with direct sun lights, nothing happen to my ring camera. Requested for a return already, will ship this back.

Works great for my ring doorbell. It keeps it charged when the sun is shining on it and the front of my house gets full sun all day. I'm so glad I don't have to keep changing out the batteries.

Sucks does not charge my ring even in full sun and I still have to take it down and charge it. If I didn’t already put it up I would return it.

So I made the mistake of getting excited and ordering this without paying close enough attention to what doorbell I have. I was further confused by the included paperwork listing instructions that would work for my doorbell, but the adapter (which that set of paperwork says is included) wasn't in the box. I realized that there were two sets of paperwork included in the box and I guess I ordered the version that doesn't include the stuff I need for my doorbell. It seems like a nice bit of kit, and I'd love to try it, but unfortunately this version doesn't come with the adapter needed to connect my Video Doorbell 2. Edit: I was able to get this to work with a different model doorbell. It installed easily enough and is charging the device. I will report back if any issues arise, but so far it seems to be working just fine. Still leaving the original comments and score because the confusion is still there due to the included instructions. ... show more
