Love this item! It has a very strong magnetic field so you can even use it in doorways where you can't place the 2 pieces right next to one another to activate the come when the door opens. I will include pics of what I mean. It is also very accurate and goes off every single time! It has so many different sounds to choose from and even volume levels and lights up! I use it at the top of my basement stairs to alert me if the kids try to go in the basement. I tried to include a video to give you guys an idea of the different sounds and volume levels but it wouldn't load up. They range anywhere from sounds that are a second or so long to half a minute or so longer musical ones. So just know the choices are endless!

Works better than I thought it would. Super easy set up. Love the variety of ringtones and the volumes. We’re using it as a doorbell for our kids’ room so we know when they’re up. I set it to rooster crow and it wakes me up every time. We move the receiver around the house and it works wherever we are without having to reprogram it.

Update- The seller was very responsive to my grievances, receptive to feedback, and willing to come to a resolution, which I appreciate. Low rating because of unclear directions. I wasted 90 minutes attempting to reset and re-pair this device after it accidentally got unplugged. I wish that the seller gave more clear, thorough, step-by-step instructions to resolve this issue so that it wouldn’t be such a hassle to figure out. The doorbell itself works great once you figure out how to work it.

My husband has dementia so I needed something to alert me when he tries to go out the basement door, which leads outside through the garage. This is working very well. It took me a few tries to figure out how to set it to the chime that I wanted. If I don't want the chime to go off every time I go through the door I just unplug the chime and take it with me. This was very easy to install. Just stick.

It worked well for a while. We used this item to help us know when patients are coming into our office. It was received and installed early December. I would say that it is very easy to install and it worked well for a while, then it just stopped. The receiver still works when we press the buttons and the sensor still lights up when the door opens but there is just no more sound! The company has not been easy to connect with to resolve this issue and my return window has passed so now we are stuck with a product that worked for about 3 months and needs replaced.
