I use this hose exclusively on the pool deck to keep it from getting muddy and tracking dirt all over the paving. The reasons I chose it for this purpose, is that it is light and easy to roll/unroll from the hose reel. The rubber is extremely soft, especially in warmer weather and the hose kinks easily. The short length and use of the hose reel minimizes this issue. It is also one of the reasons I am not using it in the yard where it tends to get tangled up. It is not really a heavy duty hose and compared to the real heavy duty hoses I use for the garden, it does not compare well. The connectors are more fragile and the soft rubber will get damaged easily. This does not mean its a bad hose, its just better suited to certain applications. I hate using the heavy, inflexible garden hoses for washing the deck, which is why this one works well for me.

Good quality. The clasp is a slide in magnetized clasp which seems very secure. This was a perfect graduation gift. My grandson got teared up when reading the message. This really was the perfect gift!
