This air fryer is huge - the basket is about 10-inches around (it's not quite a circle) and about 6 inches deep. So it holds a lot of food. I cooked a dozen wings and there was still plenty of room in between them for the air to circulate. The tray is a two-part system with a basket upper portion (to allow air flow) and a solid pan bottom that catches all the drips, crumbs, etc. The basket separates at the touch of a button from the pan for easy cleaning and both can go in the dishwasher. Temp only goes to 400 - many recipes call for 425, so I just add a few extra minutes. Heats up fast and is pretty quiet. Overall, it's great and I got a great price from the Warehouse. ... show more

Bought when on sale through Amazon. Great product! Easy to make foods with a fried type coating. Cooks quickly and evenly, not exactly like typical fried food but pretty close without the greasiness. Made fried chicken and fish quite a bit...always turns out great, not tough or rubbery either. Suggest to get an oil mister to spray the insert and food prior to cooking, makes it really easy to get crisp coating. Can fit a few wings and thighs in maybe 5 pieces total for each cook cycle. Using the accessories available on Amazon, such as a rack increases the amount you can cook for one cycle. Cleanup is a breeze and takes minimal time to figure out temp dial and times for cooking. Can also check web on recipes and cook time suggestions. Highly recommend this air fryer for cooking space, ease of use and results. ... show more

    • Larger than expected!

I was quite surprised by the size of this appliance. It is one of the largest I own, other than my small microwave that sits on my counter. The appliance will not fit into my cupboards so will have to remain on the counter when not in use. I used the fryer to cook chicken tenders and tater tots, and it worked well, however the "cookbook" that came with the appliance was more of an instruction manual and not an actual cookbook, even to cook the basic things, so I pretty much guessed the temperature and time, relying mainly on the food package directions for oven preparation. One suggestion I would give to the manufacturer/supplier is to include several of the parchment paper liners. I wondered about the mess and clean-up involved, so I Googled whether I could use parchment paper as a liner in the basket -- turns out that the liners are a big deal! Rather than waiting to purchase liners, I simply traced a 9" plate onto the parchment paper, cut it out, folded it in quarters, and used a hand-held paper punch to punch holes, then folded again and did the innermost section of the liner. It worked fantastic, and I will probably use homemade ones rather than store-bought ones which cost approximately ten cents each. Overall seems to be a great product, but is bigger than expected. 8 months later— even though I use the parchment liners, the basket is showing some wear (scratches). Also, and so far this has happened only once—when I set the timer for 10+ minutes, the timer did not count down, luckily I checked it and stopped it before any issues arose. ... show more

Works pretty well so far. I've used it a bunch of times for chicken tenders, coconut shrimp, roasted brussel sprouts, chicken wings. Max temp is 400 degrees, which is enough for most things. The timer keeps going even if you pull out the drawer (which automatically turns off the oven/fan) so if you want to turn it off early just let the timer run out and leave the drawer detached. Cleaning it is probably the worst part. The instructions say clean after every use but if you're just putting mostly dry items in, it could be used a few times. The bottom section of the drawer has a button to prop up the basket, which leaks a bit when you're soaking with water/soap or if you get a layer of grease on the bottom, it could leak into the bottom of the oven. Only 1 screw holds that in but doesn't seem to be much of a problem, just have to be aware of it. I got the machine in white, which seems to be turning a little yellow around the sides that meet the drawer. Holds up to 2 lbs of food but recommended amount is 1lb. ... show more

I rarely write product reviwes, but this Dash Air Fryer is the bomb! Being one of Santa's elves, I purchased for myself for a Christmas gift for my hubby to give me...:) Needless to say, my hubby didn't even have to wrap for Christmas, as we decided to crack out early to air fry some perogies. Being Polish, I love perogies, but usually don't indulge and stay away from the oil, or butter needed to fry. Not anymore! The perogies were light, crispy and browned to perfection. A dollop of sour cream and fresh parsley and I'm one happy Polish chick! I love to cook and the Dash Air Fryer is my favorite new appliance in my kitchen, which will be my go to for cooking. The large 6 quart capacity will allow me to air fry a large chicken, and cook family meals. I just purchased the Dash Air Fryer cookbook, too and can't wait to use during the holidays and beyond. ... show more
