I purchased this product to paint free-flight rubber powered model parts. The supplied air compressor is more powerful than all comparable others which are available. It can produce 20 and 36 psi, the higher pressure setting is higher than what similar portable compressors can produce and is useful for thicker paints as well as for operating single action siphon feed airbrushes. Others have complained that the airbrush clogs easily and that the compressor is unreliable. I have not found this to be the case. I have mixed my paints in disposable mixing cups, and not in the pot of the airbrush, and have had no problems, and I have also not had any reliability problems with the compressor. I suggest that users do the following: (0) Fully charge the compressor before first using it. (1) Mix paints with airbrush thinner/reducer in a ratio of at least one part thinner/reducer to one to at most one and a half parts paint or similarly a 50:50 thinner/water mixture in a mixing cup and not in the airbrush pot. Use disposable pipettes to measure out the paint and thinner. (2) If you do decide to mix paint in the airbrush pot, first pour airbrush thinner in first, since if you pour undiluted/unthinned paint in first, the paint will clog the spray needle. (3) Clean the airbrush immediately after using it to prevent paint from clogging it. This is particularly important if you are using airbrush thinner/reducer since this accelerates the drying rate of paints. (4) Before painting your models with acrylic paint, apply a coat of primer to them such as Zinsser bullseye 1 2 3 primer. (5) If using acrylic paints on plastics, then seal your work after painting with something such as Krylon crystal clear (if you want a glossy finish) The parts supplied with the air compressor in conjunction with the adapter supplied with the Master Airbrush Model E91 airbrush kit will allow the compressor to be connected to it and to the Harbor Freight Central Pneumatic single action siphon feed airbrush as well. Please note that the Model E91 and the harbor freight airbrush uses a paint jar with a 60 degree down angle adapter lid, so similar airbrush jars must be used if you want to use multiple jars. Also note that the handle of the E91 airbrush is not resistant to traditional lacquer thinner and likewise for the o-rings in it. If you want to use lacquers or enamels with a siphon feed airbrush, then you will need something like the S68 airbrush. I did have a problem with the compressor when I attempted to use it with an inexpensive quick-change airbrush. The supplied air hose was the problem. I switched it with the one supplied with the E91 airbrush and that solved the problem. The airbrush has been very reliable and accurate and the compressor has proven to be reliable, powerful, quite, and it operates for about an hour with intermittent use. I'm very pleased with it. The red nose cone was painted with the supplied US Art Supply red acrylic paint without using any primer and then sealed with Krylon crystal clear. The silver nose cone was first primed with Zinsser bullseye 1 2 3 and then painted with Tamiya flat aluminum. It will be sealed with Krylon crystal clear once it dries.

This product worked really well the first time. It's a pain to take a part and put back together, which you have to do to clean it. If you don't clean it fairly quickly it gets gunky.

My husband got this to repaint some of his fishing lures that have faded over the years. He loves it and it works great and he says it’s easy to use.

Worked fine for about 6 weeks of very light use. Sputtered on and off and now won’t turn on or charge. No led light to indicate it has any power. Just died out of no where. Over the 6 weeks I had it, there was probably only 3-4 hours of total usage time. Terrible.

The only thing that I don't like about it that if someone was bump into it or what you have it sitting on a couple and falls to the ground the compressor sounds funny and don't want to work right

I really like this airbrush it is well made and it is great , I like the 2 set pressure modes high & low , I think I’m goin to have some fun using this master airbrush I like the idea to used with the air hose instead of using it direct out the compressor I think for me it is more easy . I’m sure it gets the job done for my RC toys that I’m goin to paint thanks
