I've been through so many hoses in the past, but never have tried a metal one. Now that I've used this hose, I'll never, ever buy a rubber one again nor will I buy from any other brand. This hose/kit is hands down the best I've ever used! ☆Quality is exceptional! This hose is super studry (read- no blowouts!) and very well made. There are no sharp pieces and all the connectors line up properly. It is super lightweight making it easy to move and store. There are no drips, even at the connections. The best part- this doesn't kink! ☆Unbelievably durable! Usually, I'm a bit rough with my outdoor tools. I've wheeled over this with my wagon, dropped it, tossed it aside, hooked it up to my power washer, etc and it takes it all! Even with its strength, it is still very flexible and easy to maneuver/snake wherever you need it. ☆This is also the first hose I purchased that came with a nozzle. I figured it would be one of those 'bonus' pieces that isn't that great. I was way wrong. This nozzle is awesome! With 10 different spray options (that click through easily), you have all the attachments you need in 1 convient place. It isn't cheep plastic, rather it is thick and can survive being dropped on the concrete several times. (I know from experience). It is easy to squeeze too. ☆I also love how this hose looks! It doesn't seem to pick up all the dirt and grass that it's rubber counterparts do. When it does get messy, just spray it off. ☆I want to add that this company is on thier game with keeping customers happy. They also include extra gaskets and O rings in the package. I've seen these hoses being sold for over $100, so this is DEFINITELY a bargain, especially because of all the extras that come along with it! Here is your chance to make the switch to a metal hose. The media could not be loaded. I grew up in a plant nursery so I’ve tried lots of different kinds of hoses. And I’ve tried many more since then because I have what people visiting call a Botanical Garden! In my late 50’s, it’s imperative that I have a lightweight hose that doesn’t kink or crack. These metal hoses are now the only kind of hose I use on our 1/3 acre garden. The thing that sets this hose apart from other metal hoses is the very large brass fittings you see in the photo. This kind of connection results in you being able to easily unscrew the hose from the faucet, as well as ease of unscrewing from the sprayer. Other metal hoses have only a small brass band at each connecting side so pliers must be used to loosen them. It’s not a deal breaker but it’s something to consider. In the video, you can see the many stream choices available with the sprayer and other details. What I didn’t say in the video but is of utmost importance is that a hose with great fittings that has no leaks must be turned off at the faucet after use. I have had the experience with regular rubber hoses as well as with metal hoses that if I forget to turn the hose off at the faucet after usage, the pressure can build up after many hours and either cause a leak in the fittings so that now I have a leaking hose or it can burst the hose. The other thing that is exceptionally important to mention is that metal hoses in particular are VERY slippery when on cement. I have learned to be very careful around them when I am on the cement area of my yard. Trust me - if you accidentally step on a metal hose that is on cement (or another smooth, slippery surface), you will go flying. So, if you consider yourself clumsy and you have a lot of cement that you’re considering using this hose on, I would consider another option for safety. Take care and I hope that whatever you choose works great for you!🎉
