Although I followed the instruction faithfully, underneath the bangs, sides, and hair near the nape were not colored. But the places where the dye took, they did not look too dark. I used Natural Brown on my blackish hair and they did not make me look raven. And I did not feel any discomfort or heat like some hair dye. So the hair dye seems to be of good quality. I love this product but why are you all no longer including the conditioning small envelopes ! I was buying it often enough to realize you are no longer including it in any of the hair dye boxes .
