This is such a beautiful stainless steel set and you can tell it's good quality. I legit have not had any issues cooking with it and cleans up flawlessly. If your new to stainless steel cookware, please look up YouTube videos of how to cook with them. Most negative reviews here of food sticking is 99.99% people who don't know how to use a computer lol. Stainless steel has to be pre-heated to a point where water literally beads up and then you turn down the heat to the desired temp for cookies low temp foods like eggs and such. Have not had one egg stick at all and just simply soaking them in water and any fond left over, will come off super easy. I will definitely get another set like this in the future if something ever happens to these at all. These also have a lifetime warranty. Great find for the price. ... show more

    • Heat resistance? No, they're for cooking.
Don't know why "heat resistance" is in the ratings... these are pots and pans and they dutifully get hot just where you want them. Unlike other reviews, I'll say the handles are excellent and do not get hot at all. They're stainless, so treat them well, clean right away, and be sure and get hot before using, and you'll be fine. They do many things the non-stick cannot do. Frying and browning is a welcome wonder with these; the lids are great. Beautiful hanging on hooks as well as on the stove. Make more! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you are used to using ceramic coated or teflon pans, cooking with these will definitely be a learning curve. That being said, once you learn the technique to using stainless steel, these pans are great. They are the perfect weight, size, and heat evenly. They look as good as new, even after a couple months of use. I do wash them with Bar Keepers Friend’s for stainless steel once in a while and I try to dry them after washing them to help keep them looking good. Especially since I have hard water where I live. Overall for clean cooking these are great and very much worth the buy. Very affordable! ... show more

Cookware seems heavy enough and SS construction appears to be a good grade. Sizes are good for what the wife needs. Clear glass lids make it easy to see when thing boil. Time will tell on how they hold up. I will say that i will be glad when amazon opens the new distribution center in our area because the postal service has gotten veryl lazy here. ... show more

This is the third set of Cuisinart cookware I have bought. The first I bought for our home; the second as a gift for our son and his new wife; this third one is for our vacation home. I have had very good luck with this set. While, yes, stuff can stick to the bottom - it is NOT non-stick coated with potentially toxic material - the clean up is rarely difficult. And when it is, a little product called Barkeeper's Friend does the trick and leaves the cookware looking brand new. I'm so glad it was on sale during Black Friday so I was able to afford this third set! No regrets! ... show more

    • Induction Perfect
I bought the new Cuisineart Cookware set for a new Induction oven I purchased as the old set was aluminum. This set is stainless steel with an aluminum core. The aluminum heats up faster than the steel so it's a good core material, the pots do take a little bit longer to heat up due to thicker layered material. The stainless fry pan surface sears really well. Careful when the pans do heat to temp as they will start get hot and usually require turning the heat down. The best part for me is they work seamlessly with the induction range and are thick enough and layered so they won't start to warp which most pots & pans do over time creating wobble and hot spots. Sauces and drippings won't pool up to the low spot. I love this set. ... show more

I looked for a long time to find a set of pots and pans to replace a 5-6 year old set that... didn’t age well! I’m hard on cookware, and I know that. I need durability - my 6 year old likes to help me cook. I need dishwasher safe - a must in my house. I don’t need nonstick - my old set is peeling up. I need good quality - a good set of pots and pans is an investment! So I did research because I’m on a budget and never want to spend an outrageous amount of money. I actually came across this product while shopping at Kohl’s one weekend and liked what I saw. Helps that they have a display out and I can feel the weight and see the construction before committing! I really liked them and they were on a big sale... only $220 after all my coupons and sale prices! So I called my hubby to get his thoughts and he typed the info into Amazon and found the same set much cheaper. Done deal! It’s been a several weeks cooking with these, so here is my experience. PROS: - Lots of pans and pots for the $$. - Heavy construction with solid riveting between handle and main body. - Lids are glass and easy to clean. - All skillets are able to move to the oven! Big bonus for me! - Cooking surface heats evenly and fairly quickly. - Super deep sided sauté pan makes a great one pan dinner maker! By far my favorite piece of this set!! - Clean easily. I use a scrub sponge and haven’t had too much trouble. I do tend to let difficult stuff soak overnight though in hot soapy water. CONS: - Largest skillet and sauté pan do not fit in my dishwasher well... pretty much have to hand wash these. - Cooking at high heat, I have noticed some discoloration on the cooking surface of the skillets. This doesn’t bother me at all, it is the “rainbow” effect of the high heat on the stainless. In the end, no brainer. I’d happily buy this set again! High quality on a budget price point! ... show more
