I like its cylindrical mount at the top, it's the same size of the light below, this part looks sturdy and neat. Our old fan had this skinny rod holding it up, and it wobbled so much when spinning that I was always a bit nervous. It also add some light to our bedroom since we didn’t have overhead lighting before. The light it gives off is ok when I’m folding laundry or sorting clothes at night. Function wise, it has six speeds, and I usually keep it on the lower settings for a gentle breeze while I’m sleeping. The remote control is easy to adjust the speed or turn the light on and off. On the flip side, the fan is not super heavy, but install took me and my husband some time. If you’re not handy, you might need some help. While the fan is quiet overall, a slight hum is there when use the higher speed. ... show more

I selected the white 52" fan to replace an aged fan in a guest bedroom. This CubiCubi fan was quite easy to install and instructions and hardware were intuitive and easy to follow. As shown in the picture in the listing, this fan is quite modern looking with metal fan brackets and a sleek white look. The 52" width is perfect for decent airflow in a larger bedroom or living room. The fan itself has quite a few features - dimmable and color selectable LED lighting, remote, multiple fan speeds, easily changeable fan direction and two different blade colors (white and light wood). I did not utilize the phone app feature, so I cannot review the functionality or ease of use. That said, the fan itself is built quite well and should hold up nicely over time. The fan itself is super quiet, you can hardly hear it when in operation. At time of review, this fan is ~$60 making it an excellent value given the feature set compared to what I can source locally at a big box store. Overall, I'm quite happy with this unit. One note is that the screws are exposed near the top (like shown in the listing on the product page) making the vibe a bit 'industrial', not an issue, just an observation. The installation process was simple and straightforward, and the included instructions were easy to follow. The wireless remote control box, which is located above the fan assembly, was also easy to set up, making this fan a modern upgrade over an old ceiling fan. The remote works flawlessly and has a good range. The lighting is fantastic, with the option to adjust the light temperature from soft white to bright white, which is a great feature/bonus. The remote control provides a variety of features for the ceiling fan, and the fan itself circulates and pushes or pulls air amazingly. You can change the fan's rotation to either push or pull air, and it operates with minimal sound from the motor or the airflow. This fan has significant power to move air, almost chilling the room without the need for air conditioning. Additionally, the included activated charcoal filters make this fan an excellent choice, as it also acts as an air purifier. The media could not be loaded. If I can do this you can do this too! I have never installed a ceiling fan. I have done other work around the house like light electrical and plumbing. I did most of the installation with a Phillips screwdriver. The hardest part of the installation was the small tab on the end of the cord that powers the lights in the dome. It took some time to get that piece into its home. The fan blades take time to screw each one in and it is best to do after mounting the main unit. This took me about an hour to remove the old fan and then install the new one. I like that the light on the fan allows for the change in color temperature. The fan is also fairly quiet at its top speed. The beeping sound can be turned off which I think is nice. There are also LED lights on the remote that show how fast the fan is going.. 1 light, 2 lights, 3 lights. I chose to follow the directions in the video found through the QR code on the front of the manual. As I said in the beginning if I can do this anyone can. Installing a fan, as long as you have it prewired, is not that difficult. ... show more
