Worked for about 3 weeks. Now the motor is making screaming and crunching sounds. Must be replaced.

    • Two motors that I received were louder then my home theater system
I have a quadrafire contour older pellet stove. The first motor worked and ran quiet for about three hours and then it started getting really loud. Like louder then my home theater movie sound each time it started to feed pellets. So I waited and was sent another one. It was quiet and lasted about 5 hours and was really loud like the first one. I actually pulled it out and ran the motor with the auger outside of the pellet stove to see what it sounds like. It was really loud. I sent both motors back on 1/30/23 and it's 2/9/23 and I have not received a refund. You can't contact the seller once a refund is started so I'm waiting. ... show more
