For the price the hutch is decent. The hardware for the door Locks are very cheaply made and bend super easy. The hinges are cheaply made bend really easy to. Directions are not the best. We have a similar cage from a different company and a little larger so I pretty much new how to out it together without them. I will definitely be buying better hardware. Being as decent hardware that small is fairly cheap there is no reason to have such bad hardware. ... show more

This is well made and looks nice too. We use it as their safe space for our free roam bunnies but dont ever shut the door. Works great. We removed the ladder as ours do not need it and it makes more space.

The cage itself is cute, but the materials they send are so so cheap. The clasps are not stable and we’ve have it for 2 months and they have broken.

I am very unhappy with this purchase. Not only is everything made so cheap, there are no drill. Holes in the tray does not pull out like described. This cage broke within a week of light use and the main reason I bought it was because it says the tray pulls out. You have to lift the whole cage off of the tray to clean it and it is very inconvenient. 0/10 ... show more

This crate will handle one maybe two average-sized rabbits. It would also be used to house hamsters, kittens, or many other smaller pets. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, however many places that you need to place screws are not marked, and while they do not want the screws to be tightened by a drill or electric screwdriver, I personally would recommend drilling pilot holes as this is made of softwood which can split without it. Cons: Even though I leveled and squared up each piece, and tightened the screws down flush, it ended up being larger than the base, so the buckles that attach the base to the cage struggled to catch properly on one end. The buckles and swing latches are also very cheaply made of a thin hollow metal and I had two latches come apart just because I had to move the piece and a latch bent out and had to be bent back into place. On mine, I had to either bend or cut wire strands as it was covering a couple of screw holes. It took a good 2 1/2 hours to assemble. Pros: The base is made of convex plastic, so clean-up should be easy, especially as you can remove it from the cage completely. The lid tilts up to allow access to most of the cage, just the area under the box is harder to get to. It has wheels, 1 pair are locking, so it can be moved around easily and I could see attaching a playpen to allow the pet a larger area to play outside on the lawn. I don't see it lasting a long time, a couple of years if it is used outside at all, it's just not made of that sturdy a material. But it will work for now until I need something bigger. ... show more
