  • A no-BS marketing guide thst furniture stores actually need
Format: Paperback
The media could not be loaded. Just finished reading this and had to write a review while it's fresh in my mind. First off, what caught my attention was that Ahmet Yavuz actually worked in furniture. Not just as a consultant who drops by once a month - the guy was literally delivering furniture, then moved into sales, saw how badly most stores handle marketing, and decided to do something about it. That background shows on every page. The book cuts through so much nonsense. You know how most marketing books are like "build your brand presence" and "engage with your audience" but never tell you HOW? This one's different. Ahmet straight up tells you which Google keywords are wasting your money, what your email subject lines should say, how to set up your Google Business profile properly. Real stuff you can actually do. What I found really interesting is his take on why furniture marketing is its own beast. He points out that nobody impulse-buys a couch the way they buy stuff on Amazon. People take forever to decide, they bring their spouse back three times, they measure their doorways... and your marketing has to account for all that. Makes total sense when you think about it but I'd never seen anyone break it down like this. The Omni-Presence Paid Ads System chapter was eye-opening. Instead of just throwing money at Facebook and hoping for the best, he shows you how to be everywhere your customer looks during their months-long buying process. Smart. Also appreciated that he doesn't pretend everything is easy. He's upfront that furniture is tough - recession-proof isn't really a thing when people can just keep their old couch another year. But then he shows you what actually works even when times are tough. The writing itself is refreshing. No corporate buzzword soup, no fluff to hit a page count. Just "here's the problem, here's what works, here's exactly how to do it." Worth it for anyone in furniture retail or honestly anyone interested in how niche marketing really works when you get specific about an industry instead of using one-size-fits-all tactics.
