I will start this review out by saying I am I newish to the game of Pickleball. My husband and I decided to try it out this summer after ordering a cheaper paddle set from Amazon. We instantly fell in love with the sport and play nearly everyday. With that being said, the cheaper paddle set is all we knew up until ordering this paddle. After trying this out, I can confirm that all of the previous reviews are spot on! The control this thing has is almost magical. I couldn’t believe how my game improved the second I used it. I was hitting winning shots instantly! The biggest difference I can distinguish between this paddle and my cheaper paddle is that the material is night and day. Once I had this in my hand my cheaper paddle felt like a plastic child’s toy. Nothing against my cheap paddle, because it helped me fall in love with the sport, but I am so happy I decided to move up to something more practical to enhance my play. While I have no experience with any other expensive brands, I can confirm this one is worth all the gold!

I was not familiar with this brand, but that's not saying much as companies are coming out of the woodwork to capitalize on the pickleball trend. I have used over a dozen paddles in the past 2 years playing pickleball and this paddles holds it's own. Here are my thoughts after having used it. *The handle. This was my biggest gripe, I don't love that it's more square than other paddles I use. I would likely become accustomed to it so probably not a big deal, but I did want to mention it in case others feel the same. Also, the padding on the handle was a little light. I like a little more padding below the grip tape than they applied....but that is something I can fix by regripping it. The grip tape itself seems OK, but nothing to write home about. 3 stars. *Surface. The surface definitely has some grit to it, like a fine sandpaper. I was able to get great spin on the ball. I was able to get a close shot in one of the pictures to show the texture. This surface plays similar to much more expensive paddles....5 stars. *Sweet spot. I felt that the paddle was above average when it came to hitting the ball and the feel of the paddle during use. I have used some high end paddles and I would rate this in the top 5 that I've used. I also felt this gave me a little more power. I usually don't mention power when it comes to pickleball paddles as it's not something I need help with....I am normallly more concerned about spin, sweetspot and the handle. However, I feel compelled to say that this seem to have better than average power as well. 4 stars. Overall....this is a really solid paddle. I would have liked the paddle a little better if the handle was more rounded but can't complain much about the rest of the paddle....it reallly plays well.

I'm a 4.5+ pickleball player (DUPR rating) and normally play with Joola paddles (Hyperion, Vision, etc.). I really have been enjoying playing with this Core Reaction Pro paddle since I've gotten it two weeks ago. I find that it has a great pop to it--generating plenty of strength. The 16mm core also provides a lot of touch for net play. I think it is very comparable to the Engage paddle (which I use to play with)--very similar handle shape (see photo) as well as playing style. I think it's better than the Engage, though, because it offers more control. If there's anything negative to say about it, I was hoping that the carbon fiber surface would provide a bit more grip to spin the ball. It's decent but not great. Overall, though, I am VERY impressed by this paddle.
