Package received next day with in garage delivery and in perfect condition. Unit was fairly easy to set up after watching the youtube instructions via the qr code and 'quick start up' guide that comes with it. It is a very sturdy and substantial unit, attractive with an easy to use touch screen front panel. I have set the fingerprint system up but it seems to have difficulty reading them now the next day, failing 1 out of 3 times. I will reset the finger prints to see if that helps and report back. Very nice safe with easy to customize controls on the app including interior (and exterior display) light brightness, different fingerprints and notification settings, etc. I like knowing that my daily carry items are out of curious fingers; that alone is priceless! One star seems severe but warranted given absolutely no customer support. I set up this safe and realized there was an issue where the backup AAA batteries are showing a “low battery”. So I replaced brand new Energizers with other brand new Energizers. The problem remained. So I returned the item and ordered a replacement. The next unit had the same exact issue. I’ve emailed customer service for 7 days straight without any help. This is very disappointing as I’ve purchased other Vaultek products, which have all worked well. I’ll return this unit and go with another brand given their lack of support. I also assume there’s a known issue which is why the DS2i is on sale…I should have know better. ... show more

1 week update - This would get 5 stars if the ViSN account set-up wasn’t such a hassle. Pro tip: Be patient when creating your account and check your spam/junk folder frequently. Once you’re past the email verification, everything else is pretty smooth. Safe has some great features and options. Works great. Looks great. Easy to program and operate. Other reviewers had mixed feelings about the wireless charger… mine seems fine so far. ... show more

If I didn’t get notifications that the safe dropped WiFi, this product would get 5 stars. I have a new router near the bedroom, so I’ll continue to monitor whether this keeps happening or if a firmware update will address it. The drawer is large enough to hold a P365, three mags, a huge set of keys, and a watch. The biometric option is pricey but worth it. ... show more

I received my VAULTEK safe as a gift and was extremely excited. I had been researching their products for a while, and everything about them seemed right up my alley. I set it up immediately and loved it at first. Unfortunately, one day it suddenly stopped working. I searched online for reboot or reset options but couldn’t find much helpful information. I’ve called customer service multiple times, left voicemails, and never received a response. I almost never leave reviews—good or bad—but given the cost of this product, the lack of customer support is really disappointing. It’s a shame because the product itself seemed great. Hopefully this helps others think twice before spending this much money without reliable customer service to back it up. ... show more

Solid safe. Does what it’s supposed to do. Don’t rely on the wireless charging as it’s hit or miss. If the phone isn’t lined up exactly right, it won’t charge.
