Overall, this is an ok product, I've had it for about a month and have mixed reviews... Pros Lightweight, easy to use and maneuver under furniture Picks up dirt right up to the baseboard on hard surface flooring. Corner tool would be needed for carpet. Light helps to see pet hair and other litter easily, only the floor head has lights, not the smaller one. The small head works well for stairs or furniture. Picks up pet hair well, (though the hair clogs the tubes) When battery runs down, I always have another in the charger to replace it. Batteries take at least an hour to charge, sometimes more. Has exactly the attachments I wanted to clean floors, stairs and furniture, corners, and a dust attachment which works well for everything from spider webs to blinds. It's easy to stand up on it's own when not in use. Cons To get the best suction, I need to turn it to high power, which runs the batteries down faster. On normal power, each of the two batteries lasts about 15 - 20 minutes. On high power, about 10 - 15 minutes each. Not 70 minutes as advertised. Normal power is ok for hard surface floors and dusting blinds, high power needed for rugs, carpeted stairs and furniture. Pet hair clogs the long tube, causing it to work hard and heat up. You have to keep the tube clear. Seems intuitive to take parts off and on, and clean the dustbin and filter, but it's harder than it seems. Directions to remove, empty and clean the dustbin are on a sticker on it, but too small to read. I take a picture of the sticker on my phone and enlarge it as I have not yet mastered the steps. You'll need a place to store the attachments and to charge the batteries. Would I purchase this again? Maybe. I like that it's lightweight and easy to use, don't like changing the attachments or cleaning the dustbin and filter, which needs to be done often. I would like a bit more suction power without using up the battery too fast. I have 2,400 square feet of house to clean, so I have to break that up into separate days. Which is ok by me because my energy doesn't last much longer than the batteries do anyway! UPDATE,,, After about four uses, power stopped getting to both the roller heads. The motor was running, plenty of suction, and battery charge but the rollers didn't turn and light didn't work so I could tell that no power was getting to them. The company was very quick to respond and helpful. They sent me two different new parts to try, no costs. One of them, the dust cup, ended up solving the problems. Seems counterintuitive, but there are little pins at all the attaching points that, I now can see, could be damaged while putting parts together or taking them apart to clean. So, although they took good care of me, I hope this won't turn out to be an ongoing issue. Time will tell. ... show more

    • Not perfect but very nice
This vacuum is so light and quiet (compared to the B&D Pet Vac, or the corded vacs I’ve used) I thought it was just a glorified Dust Buster on a long stick. So I was surprised at how quickly the debris container filled with dog hair, tracked-in leaves and general dirt. I use ear protection when I vacuum and if the light hadn’t turned off I wouldn’t have noticed I accidentally turned off the vacuum. And it doesn’t scare my dog the way other vacuums do. I get the best results using regular speed for hard surfaces and “max” for carpet, and I can finish the main level (mostly hardwood with area rugs) on one charge. Very handy to have a spare, fully charged battery standing by. I found it’s easier to get debris out of the container when it’s not packed in, so I empty it at about half full. This extra hassle is far offset by the convenience of having no cord to manage. Five stars for the handy accessories plus extra battery and filter; I removed one star because the battery release button on my unit is quite hard to push. The price has gone up almost 39 percent since I bought mine (the current “sale” coupon brings that down a bit) so it’s edging toward not being a good value. It’s definitely not as powerful as a good corded vac, and I’m not sure I’d use it as my only vacuum if I had a house full of carpet, but for light duty cleaning, hard surfaces, stairs, blinds and other hard-to-reach items, this Afoddon is a good choice. ... show more

    • Best stick vac I’ve ever had
I’ve had 2 other different stick vacuums which did not last long at all. The built in batteries began to fail then wouldn’t take a charge at all. To the garbage the whole vacuums went. I got this one and was thrilled about the 2 batteries and being able to charge them out of the vacuum. Having a backup battery is awesome. All the attachments are great. So far the batteries seem to last a long time, however I haven’t timed them. I use on low speed, it’s so quiet you’d think it’s not picking up good but it does. Battery seems to last forever. Doesn’t get edges very well but sometimes if I put on high, just for that, it will get it. Otherwise you have attachments to get ‘em. In my opinion these stick vacs are not meant to replace your regular vacuum completely, although it does pretty good. I don’t know if these batteries will eventually die like my others but maybe I can replace just the battery, instead of the whole vacuum, if it does. I actually bought two. One for upstairs, one for down. I’ve had them for several months now and so far so good. Great in fact. ... show more

    • Pretty good vacuum
Low seems too low due to how quiet it is, but it picked up really well - needed high setting to pick up kibble and larger things from tile floors. Pets don’t go running from room when I turn it on. Buttons are hard to press when trying to empty collection bin or use attachments but I am hoping that will get easier over time. There is a huge turn range on regular and smaller head. The battery life has been good, plus it comes with two. I like that it stands on its own, which was one reason I wanted to try this unit. So far I am happy with this purchase. ... show more

Yes, it’s lightweight, portable and cleans well, battery life pretty good, but for an older person or anyone who does not have very strong hands, you will struggle to press the release buttons. Otherwise, a decent value. The dust cup is very small. I revised my review to 4 stars after using this a while, because it does work well, has plenty of suction and power. I still complain about the tightness of the connections and how stiff the button releases are. ... show more
