    • A vacuum for daily use
This is my go-to vacuum for quick cleaning of those small daily messes, and with two cats in the house, they are inevitable. I keep it in the bedroom closet and my day always starts with vacuuming cat hair from the bedsheets. This unit is so small and light that it glides across the sheets with the bendable want and power head attached and cat hair is gone in a flash. Pulling the sheets tight and keeping the vacuum on low power ensures that sheets do not get sucked into the head, but the cat hair sure goes. I might also put the wand in the bent position and vacuum under the bed a bit. Next, I’m off to the litter box room where clumping litter gets tracked onto the painted concrete floor. The carpeted mat by the front door gets my attention next. It’s a low-pile carpet that works well with this vacuum, and I’ll increase the power setting a bit to make quick work of dirt and tiny leaves that come in on shoes. If it’s the warmer months of the year, I scan the floor as I walk about for mutilated bug carcasses left by the kitties during their nighttime pest control patrols. I might check the couch for cat hair or small bits of popcorn from movie night. I’ll remove the bendable wand and attach the short brush or the longer crevice tool for this task. Having a battery-operated vacuum is so convenient that the morning touch-up work is satisfying. Battery life is so good on this vacuum that most days I’ll check the battery level, and if it is above 40% or so, I’ll just set it back in the closet taking advantage of the self-standing feature. About once a week, a recharge is warranted, and I’ll plug it in for a few hours while I do other tasks. I avoid charging lithium batteries if I’m not home. On charging day, I’ll clean the vacuum’s filters, which is a snap. Dump the bin into the trash, remove the paper filter and stainless-steel filter and blow them out (outside!) with a battery operated compressed-air duster, and every couple of weeks wash the sponge filter by squeezing it in clean water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling. All machines eventually die, and when this one does I’ll promptly get another. It’s just that good. ... show more

I’ve been using this cordless vacuum for a few weeks now, and I have to say — I’m honestly impressed! It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and packed with smart features that make everyday cleaning so much easier. First off, the suction power is no joke. Whether I’m cleaning crumbs off my tile kitchen floor or getting rid of pet hair from the area rugs, it handles it all like a champ. I mostly use it on hardwood and short pile rugs, and it performs beautifully. On long pile carpets, I did notice the battery drains quicker — but the manual was very clear about that, so it wasn’t a surprise. The bendable wand is a lifesaver! I didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate being able to reach under the couch and beds without doing a full yoga pose. I actually DO have a Dyson stick vacuum, but wanted an affordable second option for the upper level of my home in hopes that it will inspire me to vacuum the upper level more often. So my review will talk a lot about comparing the 2 models. It comes with all of the same accessories as the D brand, is cordless and powerful like the D brand. The picture of the dirt in my hand is the amount collected in the drum with this vacuum from one room just 4 days after having vacuumed it with my D brand. While it does have a stand for you to hang your vacuum and accessories on, hanging it does not also plug it in like the D brand. Charging time is about the same between the 2 brands and run time is a little less than on this model. However, I LOVE that it bends at the middle of the stick as opposed to at the top which reduces how much I have to lean over to get under furniture. And I also LOVE that the power button does NOT have to be held down while running like it does on the D brand. It is also quieter and lighter than the D brand. I also really like that the digital display lets me know how much battery I have left which helps me to choose whether to vacuum a whole other room or just a quick hall before putting it back on the charger. Overall, I am very glad to have found this vacuum and have been using it about every other day to keep up with the pet hair in my bedroom. Love this vacuum! ... show more
