The media could not be loaded. Great little tiller. Perfect for small flower or vegetable beds. Small in size but tines dug through everything I needed. I really appreciate the tiller coming with two batteries.

I have a small garden (12' x 15") that I have been turning over by hand for a long time. It gets to be a chore and I am not as young as I used to be. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this tiller works. Where the garden had been packed down the tiller dug in and, after a couple of passes, I had 4 to 5 inches of nice loose soil. Even though the soil was pretty well packed the tiller didn't bog down at all. Some leaves that were in one corner were chewed up and blended in nicely. I only did a couple of rows but based on that I can do the whole garden on one charge. No tools required to remove the blades so clean up is easy. Assembly was fairly easy but the instructions were not clear on mounting the shield over the blades. I ended up doing a little disassembly in order to mount that properly. At first I thought this was a little pricey but after using it I think it is money well spent, the tiller is well constructed and will last, has plenty of power to get the job done and is much easier and does a better job than using a shovel. And my wife was impressed that it is so quiet.

This cordless tiller turned out to be a handy tool for light to moderate gardening work. Assembly was simple, and the battery-powered design makes it convenient—no cords to deal with, just charge and go. The 360 RPM motor provides decent power, and the 48 steel tines do a good job breaking up soil that’s already somewhat loose. It’s especially useful for refreshing garden beds, mixing in compost, or maintaining small plots. On compacted or rocky soil, it struggles a bit, which is expected for a battery-powered tiller. The battery life is reasonable, lasting long enough for most small to medium-sized garden tasks. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, though it doesn’t have the same force as gas-powered models. Overall, it’s a great option for gardeners who need a quiet, cordless tool for routine soil maintenance. While it’s not meant for heavy-duty tilling, it’s efficient for general gardening and composting.

This Cordless Electric Tiller Cultivator by TaskStar is a surprisingly good product. I say surprisingly as it exceeded my expectations, both in the ease of assembly and its power. Power, which by the way, is supplied by two 4000 mAH, Makita compatible batteries, a boon to someone like me who has a number of such batteries. It got this tiller to periodically cultivate between the rows of in my 75' x 100' vegetable garden - a means of organic weed control. My initial tests have proven that this tiller will definitely do the job - as long as my garden had already been tilled and planted. It is NOT the cultivator my 6.5 hp rototiller is by any means but it wasn't intended to do that work. And not only was it easy to assemble, despite incomplete challenging to understand instruction (obvious translation issues), it is equally easy to disassemble and store. Much more convenient to store than other, similar tools I own. I didn't give it 5 stars just because I have had enough time to evaluate its long term performance and durability. Should a premature failure occur I will amend this review, otherwise it would be safe to assume it continues to perform well

I live on a farm and we have a large garden which I till with a five foot tractor pulled unit or a rear tine tiller. As we get older our garden has transitioned to mostly flowers and to make growing vegetables easier we put in raised beds. The soil in the raised beds tend to compact from the rain and I needed something to just loosen it. Honestly I didn’t have high expectations for a battery powered unit but this little monster blew me away. First of all I took a quick glimpse of the instructions but realized it was a piece of cake to assemble it. The batteries came mostly charged but I topped them off before use. When I tested it in a raised bed it bit right into that loam and loosened it very well. The great part is how light weight it is. It’s perfect for raised beds.
