The images for this heater make it look like a large industrial space heater. This isn't that. This is actually surprisingly small. It is a 1500w heater like pretty much every other 120v electric heater. To be fair, you really can't go much bigger than that without tripping the 15 amp breakers that supply most household outlet circuits. It's billed as an outdoor heater but do not think it is weatherproof, it definitely is not. What this is, is a portable 120 volt electric heater that is suitable for use in any dry setting. It will look most at home in a garage, patio or workshop due to its aesthetics. I used it my garage and I could definitely tell that it was doing its job. The fan is a little more powerful than on other electric heaters that I have used, so it pushes the heat a little further out into the room. No part of the heater got hot to the touch, including the screen on the front. Strangely, while it looks like it tilts up and down, it actually doesn't. This probably isn't very important since hot air rises, but I am a little surprised there is no adjustability there. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it at its current price of $60. There is a very similar heater being sold here on Amazon without the handle and with a shorter cord for $35. I could see paying an extra $5 for those features but that's it. ... show more

    • It works well for a little heater !
I am actually impressed with how much heat this little heater outputs! I am using it for my shop gym, which is unheard. Although, it does not heat the entire gym it does a very good job of heating a small portion. I was even contemplating using this in my greenhouse if it was better sealed.

Pay attention to the measurements when ordering, as this is a very compact unit. I got this to use on our screened-in porch. It does make a difference but due to the size it's not super powerful. It isn't loud though and will allow us to get more use out of our porch in the cooler months. For its size, the price point seems a little high as I feel like you could get a larger, more heavy-duty unit for around the same amount or just a little more. ... show more

Heater is small and probably won't be great for heating up a large space, but can't be used under a desk for warming feet either because of risk starting a fire. But it blows warm air if you want it to, or can be used as a fan. Had a funny smell when it first started up, but not unlike any other space heater. ... show more

This is a good heater. It's not going to warm a 2 car garage (it doesn't claim to, but I tried it anyway), but it will work for a bedroom or bathroom. It feels quite sturdy and the fan blows fairly hard so it can distribute the warm air faster. I like that it's got a nice handle that stays cool so you can move it safely. The power cable is quite long as well. That said, the price seems a little steep for just a 1500W space heater. There are likely better options at this price point ($60). ... show more

Heater is small, heats up very quickly. Has 3 modes, fan, half heat, and full heat. It does work well under a desk if you are careful. This heater does NOT have a safety switch if it is tipped over! I purposely laid it on its face with full heat going and it never shut off or turned to just the fan setting. A surprising volume of output in a compact and portable footprint. Really, power of this tiny heater is quite impressive. At about 6 1/2 inches in diameter, it has no problem heating-up quickly and raising the temperature of a 200 sq/ft home office by over 10° in very little time at all. AND THIS IS ON HALF POWER!! The heater has three modes: Fan Only, Half Power, and Full Power. Given the draw at full power is 1500W, you'll want to make sure there is not much else on the circuit if you plan to run it on high. But unless you're in an exceptionally cold space, half power will probably be more than enough. The design form is similar to garage/workshop lights - yellow steel tubing with black hardware. It has a wide base and is quite stable, so it is unlikely to tip over without some degree of force. The dials are not the most premium and feel a little "clicky", but they function just fine. Non-standard iconography is printed on the control panel, so each function is not immediately obvious, but it is easy enough to figure out given there are only three settings. There is also a big red warning symbol whose meaning is unclear. It looks like it's telling you not to stick your face in the heater, but in reading the manual, it is telling you not to drape your wet clothes over the heater to dry them. Frankly, if you're apt to do either, you probably deserve the results. The fan is not unpleasantly loud - just a low, smooth, constant swooooooosh making it easy to have it in close proximity without it being disruptive to work or concentration. For use outdoors, you'll want to have the heater blowing directly on you which this little guy is powerful enough to do - even from several feet away. Overall, I am very satisfied with this heater. It is more than powerful enough to do its job when its cold while being small enough to store when its not. Very much recommend. ... show more

This works well. The air flow is good without being too noisy. The images along the dial are not very clear. But, like most heaters they are off/fan/low/high. If it was $10 cheaper, I would give it 4*.
