- Q: My pool is flat-bottomed. I leveled the bottom with sand before installing the pool. Why did this pool cleaner get stuck? The media could not be loaded. The AQUVII cordless robotic pool vacuum is a decent and affordable pool, cleaner. The run time was well over 2 hours and supports the specifications. It did a great job cleaning our 27’ round above ground flat bottom pool in that amount of time. The clam shell style cleaner is easy to open and using just a garden hose can clean it quickly. Charges quickly as well. We had an older model that would just stop whenever the charge was depleted, often leaving it in the middle of the pool to drag back to side with a skimmer pole. This one “parks” near the pool wall when the battery is low, so it’s much easier to pull out of the pool. Overall, very happy with the performance.

So impressed with their newest model, I bought the earlier version several years ago and decided to buy a second one for when I’m first opening up my pool, which is when the pool is at its dirtiest. I liked this pool vacuum so much that within a few days, I turned around and bought a second one for my daughter. It’s that good a unit. I especially like the shorter charge time and longer operating time. It’s also easy to clean. This pool cleaner covers perfectly all areas of the pool bottom even w/o any additional tuning and additional foam filter works well for smaller pieces of bottom dirt as well as for non-dissolving chemical

The cleaner works great but struggles with slopes. It is mentioned in the description that it needs to be on a flat bottom, I just missed that when I ordered. It does a great job on flat bottoms even with some wrinkles in the liner. It does a good job cleaning fine and course debris from the bottom. I was afraid it would just suck up the fine debris and spread it back out but the filter inside does a fantastic job.

The media could not be loaded. I'm only giving this robot one star because I have to select at least one. We read all instructions when we received it, fully charged it, and when placed in the pool...it does absolutely nothing that it's intended to do. Complete waste of time and money. Returning this unit for a refund and will purchase a completely different robot. Reviews of this product was read before purchased and still ran into issues. Proceed with caution.

UPDATE: Similar to other 1-star reviews, the robot might move a few feet, then stop and its head spins and spins. Pushing it only motivates it a few feet. But I am very impressed with the proactive, and very prompt support, the company provided.

I have ordered several pool vacuums that had high ratings but the suction power never cleaned the pool until now. I would highly recommend this product for your pool cleaning needs. It did awesome job, long battery life and easy to clean.

I tried 2 other robotic vacuums before this one, and neither were impressive. This one's design is so much better than any other one I have seen. It has a filter media sponge as well as the standard mesh filter inside that makes such a difference! The additional filter media sponge inside catches and holds on to all the tiny particles the vacuum has sucked up. I do have some wrinkles in my pool liner and it had no problem with them. I highly recommend this vacuum! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
