I’ve had 2 $2500 Polaris pool cleaners in the last 6 years. This cleaner puts them to shame. I had to rig ways for the Polaris cleaners not to get stuck behind the grotto- see picture. This cleaner has never gotten stuck and cleans the whole pool. The only issue I see so far is that the debris basket clamp is not well made. It stopped closing way too soon. I already had to replace it and it’s only been about 3 months. Otherwise, so far this is a great pool cleaner! My favorite thing about this cleaner is that it doesn’t get stuck behind the grotto- wonderful! ... show more

I previously had a dolphin robot pool cleaner that worked great. After 3 years it got hit by lightening and had to purchase new motor and replace parts. It didn’t work so purchased this robot. Very disappointed as the cord is so twisted and kinked that it can’t reach all parts of pool or floats in deep end. I have to untangle it after every cleaning. The cord is more than enough in length to clean the pool if not tangled. It cleans okay but previous robot cleaned better and cord never twisted. ... show more

This pool vacuum is awesome! It climbs walls and everything! We previously had a rechargeable pool vacuum that worked ok, only lasted us 2 seasons so we decided to upgrade to the dolphin! Our pool looks amazing! It picks up all kinds of stuff, small sand and dirt to bigger things like leaves and bugs. Having to plug it in is sort of a pain, but we never have to worry about it being charged! It is a little heavy to pull out of the pool when the filter basket needs to be cleaned, but honestly it’s well worth it for a clean pool! We love it, highly recommend! ... show more

We live in the Midwest and I purchased for our 20x40 inground liner pool (10 ft deep end). I purchased the Dolphin Nautilus CC with the caddy and the heavier cover. I have been using this vacuum for about three weeks since we opened our pool at the beginning of May. I have been using it about every three days or so and it has been cleaning the pool very well. I make sure to always wrap up the cord the correct way after use and haven't had any issues like others have said about the cord becoming tangled. The cover is nice to keep the unit dry when it rains and to keep it out of the sun. I am very pleased with my purchase so far. The first one we received wasn’t working properly and I can’t help but wonder if the negative reviews had the same problems we had. The vacuum wouldn’t move much and eventually stopped moving all together. I pursued a refund and was told to contact the manufacturer first for trouble shooting. I’m very glad I did because their customer service was outstanding. After a very short description of my problem I was told sounds like you have a bad unit out of the box. She sent me an email with return info and just as she said they mailed me a new unit when fed-ex scan in my return. The new one came and it works great.
