⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I bought my Betta Solar Skimmer over a year ago, and it worked flawlessly the entire time. It kept our pool surface clean and free of bugs and leaves, which meant nothing sank to the bottom to stain the pool floor. It really made pool maintenance effortless. About two months after the one-year warranty expired, the unit suddenly stopped working. I decided to contact the company, and to my surprise, they immediately sent me a return label, repaired the unit, and shipped it right back — even though it was outside the warranty. I have nothing but praise for this product and the company behind it. It’s rare to find this level of quality and customer service. I strongly recommend this skimmer to anyone who wants a clean pool with zero hassle. Well done!

Early days since it's only been in use for 3 days. We recently installed some trees immediately behind our pool and as you can guess we got a ton of leaves blowing into the pool. Despite using the net numerous times throughout the day more leaves drifted in ugh! Seeing this and reading other reviews we decided although pricey to buy and see if we can keep on top of those darn leaves and other debris. Once received out of the box I found it easy to put into action. Using the auto feature not the remote it started up right away very easy indeed. It was in action for a couple of hours as daylight faded. So I left it in the pool turned on hoping it would pick up where it left off the next day. And I'm happy to report it did just that. Having had a full day in the sun it was still cleaning up the debris into the night. Day 3 still doing a great job. I've emptied the capture tray twice another easy operation as it's light weight and easy to do. Watching the unit it handles obstacles like the pool grab handle lower shelf and pool loungers without issues. Once it encounters something it studies the problem then reverses or maneuvers around it and continues on its way. I'm hoping this is the beginning of a long life allowing us to use the pool rather than cleaning it. So far so good. Submitting second update. This cleaner really does a fantastic job, works nonstop picking up all surface debris with consistency around the entire pool including navigating around obstacles a must have if you want a clean pool.

This robotic pool skimmer is fantastic. I wish I got it much sooner. I just turn it on, place a chlorine puck inside the pre-fitted space in the skimmer basket, and set it off. It works off solar power and pretty much runs constantly. It covers the entirety of the pool surface, but note that it doesn't climb stairs, if any come out of the water. I've had it for most of this season and haven't picked up my pole skimmer but a handful of times. It will reduce your pool work considerably, and leave very little for your pool vacuum to pick up. Time will tell regarding it's longevity. It seems like a fairly sturdy little unit and is able to back up when stuck. It is cordless and never needs to be plugged in as it charges via a solar panel on the unit. We got it on sale and saved about $40, but I would pay full price if another was needed. Great product. I just wish it was invented years 20 years ago.

This skimmer is amazing! It's one of the best purchases I've made. My pool gets a lot of debris because our neighbor's trees are up against the wall, and sometimes the branches are over the property. It was getting exhausting having to manually skim almost every day. I was not able to keep up, especially when we get sandstorms. This skimmer can handle getting all the debris. The pool looks so much cleaner than before. I do have a pool suction cleaner, but it was still not enough for all the debris the pool gets. Now that I have both, it is so much better. I usually clean it once a week unless it is windy, and then I clean it the next day once the wind has calmed down. Some debris can get caught in the gear, but a metal pick and hook tool takes it right out. During the winter, the pool was not getting a lot of sun, so I had to turn it off and put it where it was getting more sun so it could charge. It is solar power, so it doesn't require charging from an outlet. Be aware that if your pool doesn't get a lot of sun, you will have to turn it off and let it charge in the sun. If your pool doesn't get a lot of sun, I don't recommend buying because it will be frustrating having to recharge in the sun often. It is not a "smart" skimmer, but it will eventually cover the whole pool. I thought I had made a mistake when I first bought it because it was taking its sweet time skimming the pool. However, it has done an incredible great job at keeping the surface clean. It has also helped to keep my pool filters cleaner longer because the pool suction cleaner doesn't have to handle all the debris. Most of the debris will float for a while before it sinks, so the skimmer can catch it. Sometimes, it can get stuck with the pool vacuum hose, but I let it be, and eventually, when the pool vacuum starts to move, the skimmer can move again.

Works surprisingly well for our in-ground pool. Picks everything on the surface up and is easy to empty. Runs 24/7 with sufficient daylight to charge, which for us is roughly April through October. Run time in the winter months is less, as should be expected. Would be five stars but the odd charging requirements (unit must be on and solar-only) combined with the short battery lifetime (almost 1 year to the day before it stopped fully charging and holding that charge) result in four stars. All-in-all a pretty good product, enough that we will try a newer model replacement.
