The media could not be loaded. Waited a month to give a more accurate review of product details. Husband purchased this for me for a early anniversary gift. Husband works alot so maintenance is left for me to do and this sure gets the job done. We swim almost everyday and our black lab swims three times a day. PROS: This item gets the job done better then any other product on the market and keeps my pool crystal clear and ready to swim everyday with no dirt, no bugs, no leaves, no alge, no sand, no human or dog hair at the bottom of pool. Put it in the pool and in one hour working time it gets the whole pool done. Easy to start, just hook it up, push one button and it goes to work. It's super powerful with no noise. I run it every other day here in Texas you have alot of bugs and leaves and it gets them all out of the pool. This item has replaced all the labor of me having to sweep the pool. The item is light weight and easy to get in and out of the pool. The power cord doesn't get tangled or trapped in pool. I set it on the edge of pool to drain water when I'm taking it out. Easy to clean. I have saved so much money not having to buy so many chemicals to keep it clean. Less work involved for the pool owner to maintain the pool. This by far is my most favorite item ever purchased and hands down worth the money. I have bought other brands of pool sweepers for half the price thinking I could save some money going cheaper, to find out it only would last one reason and would have to buy another next season. It was costing me more money buying cheaper products so don't go buy anything else. Just save your money and purchase this item instead. You won't regret this purchase at all after you find out how much back breaking labor and money you save. You also get more time to swim and less time down time to maintain your pools cleanliness. CONS: The things you won't get out of this item is programmed and mapping the pool, but hasn't hindered it from getting pool clean in one cycle. When it finishes its cycle it will be in random places in the pool but its light weight and so easy to pull it to side of pool, other products are heavy and bulky to pull in but not this one. Dog Hair can get stuck in the screen of the collection basket but its easy to clean with higher spray nozzle on your garden hose. With these reasons it wouldn't stop me from buying it again.     • Works great with an Intex Easy-Set Pool!

We have an above ground, Intex Easy-Set pool. I've struggled with keeping it clean the entire time we've had it. I first tried a manual vacuum that connected to the filter intake, but the filter struggled with it (like trying to suck water through a REALLY long straw) and it was a hassle to set up and use. Then I tried a self powered vacuum that attached to a pole...this worked better but was a lot of work and time consuming because you constantly had to stop and clean out the small debris filter. Then I tried one of those automatic filters than you attach to the water inlet...this worked OK but didn't filter small particles, did not have any kind of scrubbing action and was also a bit of a hassle to set up (having to shut the filter off, attach the huge hose, restart the filter, etc.) Which brings me to the Dolphin. Of all the cleaners I've tried, this is by far the best in terms of ease of use and cleaning ability. You plug it in, chuck it in the pool and run a cycle (or two). It gets the pool as clean as any of the methods I've tried but with almost none of the work or drawbacks. Couple things of note... Our Intex pool has sloped edges, I was worried about this causing the Dolphin to tip over or have problems. This hasn't happened...the Dolphin is totally stable and a happy discovery was that even though this model is not designed to do so...the sloped sides allow the Dolphin to climb the walls pretty well. One downside is that because of the shape of the corners of the pool and the size of the Dolphin, it can't really reach all the way into the corners...I had to use a brush to push the debis out of the corners for the Dolphin to grab. I've seen a couple complaints about the Dolphin doing "wheelies" all the time and not cleaning because of this. Ours does do wheelies every now and then...but I'm pretty sure this is by design. From watching it, it seems to do wheelies as a method of changing direction. It'll pop up on it's back wheels, turn, then lay back down and keep going. Another complaint I've seen is in regards to the filter basket not catching small particles. Based on those complaints I went ahead and ordered the additional "ultra-fine" filter (which is made of a papery mesh material, similar to a pool cartridge filter). In hindsight, I don't think I needed to buy that. I don't know for sure but I "think" they may have upgraded the included filter at some point as the standard filter has no problem catching algae particles and the regular "pool scum" type stuff. The included filter basket is not made with the same "pool cartridge" material, but does still have a very fine screen that seems to get everything. I have not even tried the additional filter as I haven't needed it. So anyhow...they're expensive compared to many options. But if you like having a very clean pool with little effort...this is the way to go! ... show more

So I got this cleaner for our fiberglass inground- had it for about a month, used it about 10 times now. It does a great job cleaning the floor: gravel, leaves, fine dust… Very long cable. Never got tangled as in other review. Easy to empty the basket(it has a handy trap door at the bottom-clever!). The issues I find with it: 1. The app is working, but the manual control is soooo delayed- it’s frustrating to try and clean a certain area or even try to guide it to a certain spot to pull out of the water… it could be due to the WiFi connection limitations, but Bluetooth is not an option for me- I like to control if from anywhere. 2. It doesn’t seem to have an option to empty the trash bin without resetting the cleaning cycle- you get a notification that it’s full, but as soon as you take it out of the water is basically turns off(I get it: safety and stuff), but there should be a way to “pause to empty bin” option or something… It messes with your schedule if you plan on taking the unit out after the cleaning cycle is complete. 3. The waterline cleaning is hit or miss- it’s weirdly inconsistent. Sometimes it won’t be able to climb the wall to be picked up out of the water, other times it’s just fine… Overall- I would probably buy it again- the reliability issues? I got the extended warranty thru Amazon for $150 for extra 2 or 3 years, so that’s 5 years of worry free use. It’s definitely a premium unit, it feels nice, it does a good job cleaning the pool, didn’t have any issues with it loosing connectivity etc… it never got stuck or “confused”, it does what I expected, but $2000 seems pretty high. ... show more
