  • This is what I have been looking for!
Style: Single Camera
If you have any backyard animals that you want to monitor, buy this! The AI / predator detection features are amazing! I get notifications whenever an animal that I don’t want like raccoons or hawks is detected and the user interface is great. I love this product. If you raise any chickens, get this!!! ... show more

  • I wish I had gotten this sooner!
Style: Single Camera
Amazing product! I love that the AI CoopCam is battery powered and has strong WiFi to reach my house. The predator alerts are great as well - anything from letting me know a squirrel is in the yard to a coyote has been super helpful. The app is great and I find myself using it a few minutes a day to monitor my hens. If you’re on the fence, get this just for the peace of mind knowing your hens are safe! I set it up beforehand and love how easy it is to use! ... show more

  • Can't use with an android phone
Style: Single Camera
Update #1: On a whim, I decided to try to connect the camera to another birdwatching app I use regularly, Vicohome, and it connected successfully. I don't have access to all the cool features promised in the app it's supposed to use, but at least I'll get some use it of the camera until the makers get an android app working. It's awesome to be able to see my chickens while they sleep and check on them whenever I want. The wifi connection is choppy, even with the two antennas, but it is working. Our coop isn't far from the house but is made of thick wood which shouldn't be an issue, but still. I'm going to have to play with the positioning and see if I can't get better strength and a better view. I snuck the camera in while they were sleeping so I haven't been able to mount it or anything. I do have it in the corner closest to the house though, so I'm not sure another location will fix the connection strength issue. The video quality offered is sd or 2k. With the wifi connection it's working smoother in sd, but hopefully I'll be able to use the 2k at some point. Most cameras only work with their designated app, so I'm thrilled this connected to another app, and the one I most often use, no less. I bumped my rating from 1 star to 3. I'll update again if they get the android app working and I like it better, but since I use this app for multiple other cameras already, I'm really pretty happy about this connection. Original review: I was so excited to try this camera out. They describe it like it's the best camera to watch your chickens on the market. Unfortunately I can't use it, at least not with my phone, which would be the main way I would want to use it. While it does state that Android is not supported at this time at the very bottom of the "top highlights" information, it does not mention it anywhere else. This should have been mentioned in the title, in one of the accompanying pictures, or at least at the top of the information instead of burying it at the very bottom. I did not see it until after ordering and receiving the camera. I looked when I couldn't find the app in the app store and was trying to figure out why. The camera also didn't come with any instructions or information for setting it up, which is another reason I had to refer back to the listing. I will set this up on my laptop and may add a star or two if it works really well, but i don't always have my laptop with me, so not being able to view it on my phone kind of defeats the purpose of having this camera. It's a shame because I was thinking of getting the coop door as well, since i thought i could operate it with the app while away, but now I know I wouldn't be able to most of the time. They do say they are working on an android app. If they manage to get that up and running and I can use it, I will update my review, but until then I'm left really disappointed. I feel like it's really misleading to not make the fact that it only works with apple products more obvious in the post. I'm really tired of companies catering to only apple like theirs is the only phone people use. There are an estimated 133.4 million Android phone users in the United States alone. If you're an Android user, don't waste your money. ... show more

  • Nice camera
Style: Single Camera
This is a nice camera its easy to setup. It runs off of a batter charge. It has a micro sd card slot. I like keeping an eye on my chickens even though they are in the back yard and surrounded by my Livestock Guardian Dogs.

  • Does not work, nightmare setup
Style: 2 Cams + Door
Unfortunately I bought in advance of a move and new chicken coop so the return window closed before I ever got the barn built and product tested. Won’t pair with wifi (took a week and 3 diff systems) only go offline most of the time. No nightvision. And no streaming so you can’t check in on your animals anytime you are away. Barn is only 50’ from the house so an extender should work. App crashes constantly so I could not program the door-the light sensor mode kept shutting it trapping birds inside/outside. Tech support told me how to manually open door in an email. Theres no number you can call. I haven’t been able to reach them since. This was a huge investment of money I didn’t have, supposed to make care easier and flock safer with cool AI. Not cool if it doesn’t work and I have to discover neighbors dogs out in my chicken yard myself. Re-Installing my omlet door and old Arlo cameras. Don’t have money for anything else. If you have money to spare and a tech degree-go for it. If you’re like me, find a different way to protect your birds. ... show more

  • AI Cameras for the backyard? You have to get this!I
Style: 2 Cams + Door
I love my CoopCam! It was super easy to set up and install (took 3 min and was only 4 screws) and I use it to monitor my garden for predators and pests. The Coop app (iOS only) is fantastic. It gives me alerts when there’s deer or dogs or really any animal in the yard and really helps me monitor whats going on. The battery life is great and you can also add a solar panel on it for never having to charge it. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Buying my 2nd one - love this thing
Style: Single Camera
Bought first coop cam on the coop website when they launched. Buying my second here on Amazon now! I was skeptical because they're a a new business but it's seriously so cool. The app used to be a bit buggy but now it's super slick and really easy to use. The tech is surprisingly advanced. I just started raising chickens this year so I'm still new, but this is a really good product and the team has been really helpful. Big fan ... show more

  • Perfect
Style: Single Camera
The media could not be loaded. This camera was super easy to set up and works so well. The coop isn’t incredibly far from my house, approx 50ft. I’m having trouble with it staying connected at that distance. I’m going to try to move the antennas and see if that helps. When I’m able to connect, the picture is pretty good and I can check in on my girls any time. It even works well in the dark! ... show more
