UPDATE July 2026: I stopped using this alarm because the wristband was too tight. My wrist is 8" around. So I bought a terry wristband and had my local seamstress splice a piece of that into the alarm wristband (see photos.) Now much more comfortable and I use it every night. With my continuing hearing loss, I needed a way to make sure that I wake up in the morning on time. After reading reviews, I chose this product (Coolfire - Vibrating Alarm Clock Sweatband.) Have been using for 3 weeks now and it works great for me. The iPhone app is well designed and very easy to use. I can set multiple alarms, check the battery status, adjust the vibration intensity, etc. I set mine on Medium and that works just fine. I can snooze it multiple times if I'm still sleepy. I haven't explored adjusting any settings on the watch itself - again the app is so easy to use, and since I don't sleep with my glasses on, I can't see it anyway. So my "Easy to read" rating relates to the watch itself and my eyesight, not the app. My only nit is that the wristband is a little tight for me - I wear an XL shirt, but my arms/wrists aren't beefy. But once I have it on, I can fall asleep. The instructions say that the watch needs to be charged monthly, but after 3 weeks my battery still has almost a full charge. Note that the watch end of the charging cable is a non-standard connector. I taped a label to the cable so I wouldn't forget which device it's for. ... show more

First time I’ve been compelled to write a review in my life. I previously purchased this last academic year and it served as a trusty alarm clock for months. I retired it over summer and ended up loosing the cord so I repurchased the whole shabang to make sure I would wake up effectively for this one specific final I have to take but it immediately stopped working after I plugged it in to check the charge. If you are looking for small and sleek this isn't it. I am hard of hearing and sleep through alarms, so I needed something with a heavy vibration. This does the trick. I also don't see very well, so I needed something that I can set up through an app on my phone. This also does that. And the face is large and easy to see. I have only had this for a few weeks and with gentle use...not even using it on my wrist, but next to me on the bed, it has torn. I do don't even know how it happened. I have charged it once and after charging it, the light no longer turns on, I can't connect to Bluetooth anymore to reset the time with day light savings time and it will no longer snooze or turn off the alarm when ringing. It is ringing an hour too late now and just goes and goes until it finally quits. The band was too tight to begin with and that is why I don't wear it on my wrist. ... show more

I noticed that I wasn't hearing my usual alarm clock as well as I used to. and I worried that I wouldn't wake up when I needed to. I googled vibrating wrist alarms, and found Coolfire at a very reasonable price. I'm delighted with my purchase! It was easy to connect the watch to my iPhone, and to set the alarm times. The washable wristband stretches in comfort to a perfect fit for me. The watch vibrates at 3 strengths: low, medium and high. The vibration is quiet and doesn't disturb my husband if he's still asleep. the Coolfire vibrating watch was a perfect solution for me! I noted that some reviewers with large wrists said that the wristband was too tight. The size was perfect for my small wrist or for medium size.     • Watch freezes if you use fast charger

I was initially pleased with the product. It worked as described while I was on a work trip. The instructions said to charge the watch regularly. So a few months in, I charged the watch. It synced fine with the app before charging, but has locked up after being charged fully. The button does not wake up the watch. I can tap, double press, hold. Nothing. Stuck at 12:00 and useless. I have searched for customer service. Doesn't seem to exist. Wasted money and dashed hopes. Update: 1/18/26. I was able to reach customer support. Apparently using a fast charger can cause the watch to freeze. They asked me to take the watch apart, disconnect the battery for a while, and put it back together. It worked! The watch is unfrozen and I know not to use a fast charger. That info should be in the guide. I am changing my review to three stars and am happy to have a functioning watch. ... show more

I am very deaf and cannot hear a regular alarm clock when my hearing aids are out. The cool fire vibrating alarm clock wristband watch is a really great watch to have to to wake me when I need to get up. It’s easy to program it for the time to get up on the app. There’s three settings for the vibration. I like it so much that I have two of them..
