Game Changer

What’s the purpose of the four way fitting
Looks fine. Took the four way off and replaced it with a standard T fitting so now there’s one less cap to worry about. Also siliconed on the clear elbow onto the pvc fittings.

Like the clear P trap. Would like simple installation directions.
The trap didn't come with any installation instructions. Tried using PVC cement and had a leak on the down stream T fitting, which I then bonded with a hydraulic paste. It may be expected by the manufacturer that the installer would use Teflon tape with a tight friction fit.

Innovative
Replaced my 5 ton Heat Pump with a 5 ton and the indoor unit was a different height for the condensate line. Put this in so I can see the amount of dust getting into the drain line. I have a 25 foot drain line and I've never needed to clean it in 35 years but at this point I'm seeing how important it is to have good filters. This was easy to install and if nothing else gives me some piece of mind.

Good quality
Works great. The clear tubing is nice, will be able to see when algae starts to build up. The flexible brush goes through without a problem.

Easy to clean
My house was built in 1984 and had a solid PVC A/C trap. I replaced with this trap and cleaned my coil tray. Now the leak has stopped and it’s much easier to clean the trap.
