We bought three of these at one time. The frame itself went up super quick, but, you can tell it’s a little flimsy which is to be expected with something this cheap. The first run we ran wire on was definitely the learning curve and the most pain to put together. But they literally send just enough chicken wire to wrap the whole thing, so no worries there. Once we figured out how everything worked, the next two went up super quick. Keep in mind when you’re fencing the top that the wire stretched from bar to bar. Doesn’t seem like it at first, but it does require some stretching. Also, there is a lot of fence cutting involved, so make sure you have some sharp sheers with you, cause that was the absolute most aggravating thing to deal with in this heat. But other than that my wife loves it, and our chickens are out living their best life. Planning on buying 3 more in the near future. Also, these runs are super light, so easy to move around with just two people.

Easy assembly one person can do it alone but better with a second person. I personally like the way the metal pipes connect I’ve purchased another brand in the past that used screws which rusted and I had to get rid of it when relocating because I couldn’t get it apart. This one is more like tent poles with the push button makes a huge difference. I use it for my chickens

Super easy for one person to put together. Has a thick wire and is durable but easy to work with. I will say one person can put the wire on but and extra set of hands would have been nice. It's a great size and I have 13 hens in my pen. they have plenty of room. Easy to move around but sturdy as well.

I bought this as a frame to what I thought I could add onto to make a nice place for my girls. I found it’s not sturdy enough for any additional wood, even cheap partial board. I did assembly the frame my self and one piece was bent so i couldn’t complete the frame until I sent a copy of the receipt and photo, which they were quick to respond but took a week to receive the replacement piece and then it was the wrong one… I reached back out to customer service and never heard back….. so luckily my friend and her boo came into town and helped me get er done. We spent Saturday wiring up the coop, it’s more for a run, definitely don’t get this as a space for them to sleep again I was going to make a little area they could just sleep in at night and put nesting boxes, can’t do that with this. We framed out a box inside and I’ll add nesting boxes and roosts to that. It’s going to require some additional something ( I haven’t figured out what) to keep them from the rain. Unless you are super handy and a designer you might be better off buying an actual coop and putting it inside this. There is a lot of space but does no good if you can’t attach roost or boxes. UPDATE moved from 3 starts to 1 !!!! my ENTIRE FLOCK WAS KILLED. You see the photos below I added wire to the bottom to prevent anything from digging in, nope it chewed right through the cheap green chicken wire. All my girls are dead. I’m sick to my stomach i couldn’t properly protect them thinking this would hold up.

Got chickens. Needed someplace to put them. It took us 5 days to put it up based on weather and the time we started doing it, it got too dark. Also had to wait until my husband got home from work to help with the chicken wire. It could've taken a couple hours but whatever. Chickens are happy with perch, I catch them on it alot. Plenty of space for the amount of chickens we have. It's pretty large and roomy. Quality is pretty good. It's holding strong. Will update in due time. Oh we did add more zipties to secure it pretty good in certain places, so we did run out of provided zipties. But that was for our extra security. Update as of August 18th,2026 The chicken coop has been going strong. Has held up to intense winds in the south and heavy rain storms. Had to order another because a tree fell on it friday, my girls are alright. No harm and just missed their house. We were able to hold up the damaged frame with a beam we had to keep it upright until the new one comes in.

Here’s a smoother, more polished version that keeps your points and tone: You get what you pay for. This chicken coop will serve its purpose, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars, but buyers should be aware of its limitations. I use mine for quail, and they’re kept inside a fenced backyard that is also protected by an LGD (livestock guardian dog) and donkeys. In our area, we have coyotes, foxes, bobcats, mountain lions, wolves, bears, and stray dogs. I do not believe this coop would stand up to any determined predator. Some of the poles arrived bent, and we had to pry them open just to assemble the coop. The tie-down stakes are also disappointing. I don’t think they would stay in the ground during even a moderate windstorm. We were also missing a full piece of door netting and had to splice two pieces together to make it work. To top it off, the tarp is already developing a hole, and we just installed the coop today. I’m honestly torn between giving this 2 stars or 3 stars. It works for my specific setup because my birds have multiple layers of protection, but I would not rely on it as a standalone predator proof enclosure.

Went together well with 2 people. Construction is sturdy enough. Priced right. Chickens are happy. Should keep out the predators unless a bear is hungry. Not much will stop a bear.

It is easy to assemble, will need someone to help especially when putting on the chicken wire and tarp. Can be done by a single person though. I also over did it on the zip ties.
