I just installed this thing replacing an I have no idea how old head in my apartment. WHAT A LIFE CHANGER. Larger stream, more pressure, feeling sooooo much cleaner. So happy there's a filter. Install tips I took from reviews and plumbing friend: get some silicone from the plumbing aisle of hardware store and put a light coating around the gaskets that come inside the hose chain. I thought mine were missing at first because the directions say "have your gaskets ready!" But! Mine were inside where they were supposed to be already. I coated them with some silicone grease as well as picked up some MONSTER Teflon tape (better than the tape in the box), removed the old tape from my goose neck coming out of the wall, installed new Teflon tape, followed the instructions to assemble and screwed the head onto gooseneck. I did an extra step of using some channel locks to tighten the head on just a bit more, but didn't want to overdo it. Started it up and no leaks for first use! We'll see how it goes, but my first shower was life changing. Thank you to the other reviewers and the company for the product! ... show more

I have well water and my hair was getting very dry and stringy. My old faucet was one setting and stationary. This handheld has completely changed the way my hair is. I can easy rinse the shampoo and conditioner from my hair, leaving it feeling clean instead of that “not completely rinsed” feeling. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the water quality as well from the filter. And I love the clickability of changing the setting along with the array of settings to choose from. The only thing I would change is having an 8ft hose option - my shower is 5 feet long and it doesn’t quite reach the back wall well enough to rinse after cleaning, but it is a definite improvement from before. ... show more

I ordered two of these to go in two bathroom showers. Great verity of settings, easy to change each setting, and water flow is great too. Excellent instructions and very easy to setup with a few things to note. 1. DO NOT use the plumbers tape that came in the box. It’s garbage. Throw it away and grab a nice role from your hardware store. I used Blue Monster PTFE thread tape I found at Home Depot. When you apply it, be mindful not to run the tape two high up the threads or it will show after assembled. 2. Inside the primary ball joint connection/handle mount, remove the garbage shower washer with screen and replace it with a better quality one from your local hardware store or online. This piece is extremely fragile and once deformed, it won’t keep the proper seal and leak water. 3. MOST IMPORTANT - DO NOT over-torque the connections anywhere. In fact the only time you might need a wrench for this install is when removing your old shower head. The entire assembly works by screwing everything together with your hands. 4. Keep the instructions and 2 year warranty. They state on the warranty that if you ever have any issues in your two years, they’ll refund or replace so you’re covered with nothing to lose! ... show more

Bought this to renew my shower head and try the filter for skin health. So far no skin irritation. My skin and hair haven’t had any reaction since two weeks now. The water pressure and various settings have been super good. Would recommend. Also this unit is much lighter than my older one which I bought at a hardware store. Make sure you have some plumbers tape to fit the shower to the wall piece. It didn’t need much but made a difference in the fitting. ... show more

I saw that a lot of hair salons have these water filtering spouts in wash bowls, and that’s where I got the idea to buy one for myself. Since I can’t install a water softener in my apartment, this is my next best option. After using it for two weeks, I do think I see a difference in my prior to purchasing and after. I don’t think I’ll get water softener results but my hair is definitely less coarse, which is all I can ask for. ... show more

The different water settings are very easy to click through, and the head itself is larger than my old shower head. The only drawback, is that it uses so much water! Ive only had this for a day so i cant vouch for longevity but it looks great and very easy to install and the water pressure is great. I took away one star because i got different minor parts that what it says including this weird white piece that i ended up putting in the shaft if he shower because it was the only place it would fit but i have no idea what it does. The washer were already inserted which is fine but threw me off at first. Lastly the hose was labelled wrong so at first it wasn't fitting in the holder but at least it was an easy fix. ... show more
