Realizing that hard water was likely one of the main reasons for dry skin, the most direct and best solution came up on Fb: a hand-held shower head/water softener combo. I learned the hard way NOT to buy things on Fb so I turn to Amazon to find the same product. So glad I did. I saved at least 50% and got a better quality product without having to pay extra for shipping. With the savings, I bought superfatted (olive oil, shea, etc) shower soap to aid in protecting against dry skin. This installs so easily, is easy to use, has great water pressure and makes it so you can use it in it's holder in a fixed position or hold it for greater flexibility. A hack I have for things like this is to keep a little notebook of when I've bought and installed things like (including a clipping from the box with the product info that links what filter to buy when filter cartridge replacement is indicated).

We recently installed the Cobbe filtered shower head and have been really happy with it overall. Installation was incredibly easy — it took just a few minutes and didn’t require any special tools. Huge win. The water pressure is fantastic. It feels strong and steady without being harsh, and it definitely upgraded our everyday shower experience. I also love knowing the water is filtered — it gives a little extra peace of mind, especially with kids. The only small downside is that the hot-to-cold adjustment can be a little glitchy at times. It sometimes takes a second to balance out the temperature just right. It’s not a dealbreaker for us, but worth mentioning. Overall, great value and a noticeable improvement from our standard shower head. Would absolutely recommend!

Sleek, stylish, easy to assemble - the only thing that would really make this nicer is if it weren't made of plastic. Water pressure is good, although the thread tape provided is utter garbage and even with nicer tape there is a small amount of leakage at the base of the head when water is running. BUY YOUR OWN THREAD TAPE! However, this does filter really well. We live in an area with extremely hard water, and within a week of installing this showerhead my hair [Jessica] went from waxy and weighed down to feeling truly clean for the first time in months. I'd rate this as excellent value for money and definitely recommend if you need high quality filtration on a budget. Well worth it!

I just installed this 2 days ago (super easy) and my son took a shower and I asked how it was and he gave me a thumbs up and said it was luxurious, he liked all the different modes that are a breeze to click through and how tall it is. My grandson said it’s the best shower he’s ever taken, and my mom said it was divine and loved the strong water pressure on her stiff neck. I love the cord that makes it easy to clean the shower and the water felt softer to me.

We have very hard water in our town, and I purchased this shower head because I have extremely sensitive skin. I felt like the hard water had become a real barrier to my skin and hair feeling healthy. I’ve only used this shower head once so far, but I was honestly shocked by the immediate difference in my hair. It hasn’t felt this soft since before I moved here. My hair was noticeably softer and shinier after just one shower, which alone makes this purchase worth it to me. If this one stopped working tomorrow, I would buy another one without hesitation. As for my skin, I think it will take a bit more time to fully see the benefits, but given the instant improvement in my hair, I’m very optimistic. I’d be happy to update this review again after several months of use, but the immediate results were impressive. Easy set up! Comes with 5 different settings, and love how to change between them. Great size shower head as well.

Excellent shower head easy install good pressure and easy one touch to change spray great product great price. However, does anyone else feel the filter is lasting less than specified? i feel like i need to change it and its been 2 months, 2 people one shower per day 60 per month. my hair felt softer less tangled, it still does but not as prominent as when i first got it. also are the more expensive filters any better than the standard?
