make sure you know what you are buying. I ended up having to re color my hair earlier than anticipated because these applications only lasted a day or so even they were supposed to be permanent.

I used this to cover roots. It did a great job doing so and I would buy it again. It did not smell bad at all. It did stain my face around the hairline so I have to use make up remover to try to take some out, and make up to cover the rest. I used some Vaseline around my face before applying color but I should have used more. The stain on my face was gone in a couple of days so I would color my hair when I don’t have to go out for a couple of days just in case. ... show more

I purchased this because my usual brand was currently unavailable so I use this as the replacement. While it did a great job of covering grays this dried my hair out so much and I am now stuck with dry hair until the dried parts grow out. I will not buy this again.
