Have used Clairol hair color for years Used to be a P&G product. Then sold to a competitor, then Wella, then a few others. There is a difference in quality and color outcome and conditioners. Also, the plastic gloves vary between manufacturers. Look at the back bottom to see who made it, also the front panel shows a different model with the hair color shade by each different owner. I've used this for a couple of years now, mostly to cover gray and to brighten my hair that has gotten darker over the years. My hairdresser says she can't tell it's not "natural" and was stunned to find out it's Clairol Nice 'n Easy. She can't believe how natural it looks. I gets lots of compliments, and I think it's a perfect shade if you have warm undertones to your hair/skin. It will not make your hair too light--it's a rich, tawny, honey color. ... show more
