** May have a vacuum seal, use a butter knife ** So when I first got this, I thought it was defective because I couldn’t open it. I was able to unlock the latch but I couldn’t physically open the box. As it turned it, it had created a vacuum seal and I was able to open it using a butter knife to pry it open. I took it with us on vacation and the flight caused it to create another vacuum seal but I was able to open it with a butter knife again with no issue. We wrapped the lock cable around an umbrella at the pool and enjoyed ourselves without fear of having our belongings stolen. We placed our tip cash, 2 smartphones, and a card wallet securely inside. The safe look great. the combination lock works and easy to use. The problem is opening the safe after it has been unlocked. The vacuum seal is tight and is frustrating when trying to open in a hurry.

When this arrived the instructions said it may be difficult to open the first time but to just name it hard against something to break the seal. That worked fine after banging it about twenty times. Took it on vacation and was unable to ever get it to open back up again. What a waste of money!!! Now the return window is closed and I have a defective, unusable product.
