I tried this product first in the Burgundy color, and it covered all my gray and lasted a really long time. But I didn't like the color that much (too purply). So I switched to the Cool Brown and now the Medium Brown. These colors are okay, but they don't cover my gray hair completely. However, it turns some of my gray hair into a kind of golden color, which I actually like, so it's good for me. But if your looking to turn your stubborn gray hair to brown, it might not work that well. It really needs to be used montly, but I stretch it to every two months, since I hate coloring my hair. ^^ I really like this product because it is gentler on the hair than permanent hair colors, so I will keep using this product. ... show more

I am over 70 and have some, but not much, gray hair. I use this product once a month to even out the hair color. It is not a permanent dye and washes out gradually. I use a cool brown which gives me some golden, but not brassy, highlights.

This color is highly rated for a reason. It really doesn’t damage my hair much and it faded into a beautiful color. Lasts about a month or two and it will make your hair super soft. I dye my roots and leave the ends blonder.

Hard to find a product with not allot of chemicals that would cover my grays. This works like a charm, it does last like 20 or 28 washes and I do not use a special color shampoo either. Does not dry your hair or damage it.
