A: - Calcium in your water may leave a multicolored stain. This is from a harmless deposit and can be removed with a little warm vinegar. - Certain foods such as pasta or oatmeal may leave a light residue or cloudy appearance. Q: How to remove stubborn residue? A: - When food is burned in the pan, a stubborn black residue may remain. If soaking does not loosen it, add water to a depth of one inch in the pan, then add a tablespoon of dishwasher detergent (a non-lemon product). Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Let cool in the pan, then drain and rinse. Loosen the residue with a sponge or plastic spatula. Repeat if necessary. - Stains on the outside bottom (not sides) of pans can be removed with an oven cleaner. Follow the manufacturer's directions and spray or brush the cleaner on only the outside bottom of the pan. If the directions call for using the cleaner in a warm oven, heat the pan before applying the cleaner. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning. CAUTION: Detergent fumes can be irritating. Carry out this procedure under a hood with an exhaust fan or in a well-ventilated room. Q: How to remove burner stains? A: Stains on the outside bottom (not sides) of pans can be removed with an oven cleaner. Follow the manufacturer's directions and spray or brush the cleaner on only the outside bottom of the pan. If the directions call for using the cleaner in a warm oven, heat the pan before applying the cleaner. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning. • My gorgeous go-to large stock pot for big-batch cooking and canning.
Color: Stock Pot Size: 20 Quart
Now my go-to stock pot for making large batches of bone broths. This replaced my decades old heavy duty aluminum stock pot and not affected by acid foods, like tomatoes. And this is sturdy (and heavy), so it should prove far less prone to dings and dents. Beautiful polished finish. Very nice vented glass lid. On the stove, it’s impressive and gorgeous. Good for heating canning jars, too. ... show more

  • Good Quality Pot
Color: Stock Pot Size: 8 Quart
I feared about buying a pot online. I was afraid I would end up with something tinny about the quality of a camping pot. I can tell you this pot is a very nice quality. The bottoms slope just a little that allow you to whisk a roux better. It is heavy and has not stained and I've made months worth of soups in this pot. Worth the buy and I would definitely buy again if I needed to. ... show more

  • Well Made and beautiful
Color: Stock Pot Size: 8 Quart
What a beautiful and well made pot! I love that the handles don’t get super hot super easy. It’s a great size and the gold colored accents were a nice touch. It seems to heat evenly and I’m looking forward to using it to make soups and yoghurt.

  • Not the same as pictured but decent anyway.
Color: Stock Pot Size: 8 Quart
I bought the 8 quart stock pot with glass lid. Why I bought this was because I already had a 6 quart stock pot from another manufacturer, and I wanted an 8 quart one now to give me more options. But I wanted it to have a glass lid, and I wanted it to have a larger width than the 9.5 inch one I already had. It seems the majority of stock pots at 8 quarts and above are 9.5 inch width and with a metal lid. So it seemed more difficult than it should be to find one with a glass lid and larger width. That's why I bought this one. I also wanted it to be 3-ply if possible, and I wanted it to not have a gap in the metal at the base like my 6 quart sauce pot has. This one satisfied all the criteria. I had an initial shock, though. When I received this product, it arrived in its original box from the manufacturer, not from Amazon. I mean, this is the box with the product photo on it and all the marketing stuff, not a shipping box. That's okay, I thought, so long as they packed it right. But when I opened the box, I realized there was no protection inside the box. The bottom of the pot was literally touching the box itself, from the inside. There wasn't any foam or extra cardboard structure inside of it. Just a pot surrounded by boxboard, like the kind for cereal boxes. Wow! Who thought that was a good idea? I was ready to send it back at that point, but I was surprised and relieved to see that it wasn't dented up after all. I carefully inspected it all, and it was fine. The only thing I found looks like a manufacturing defect on the lip of the pot, which you can see in the close up picture. There's a tiny dent or pit there. It's small enough that I'm not going to send it back. I don't know if it happened in shipping, but I suspect it was a manufacturing defect. There was a second shock I had, though. Notice in the pictures the lip of the pot is a perfectly straight edge. There's no gently curving lip like you see in the advertisement photos for the product. Even the box it came in showed a pot that had a curved lip, not this straight lip. The straight lip looks cheap, to be honest. It doesn't look good. And when you hold that pot by the thin, straight lip, it will feel a little like it's digging into your hand. This straight lip is tapered at the top, so it makes it feel worse. If it was curved, that would feel better. I did have a chance to pour water out of it, and it doesn't drip down the edge. So that's good. I haven't used it for thick sauces yet. But if it dribbles down the side when I do that, I'll send an update. I compared the thickness of the sidewalls vs. the 6 quart stock pot I have from another manufacturer, and the this product is slightly thicker than the 6 quart one I have. They're both pretty thin, though. They don't feel thick at all around the sidewall. The base is pretty thick, though. Overall, I'm happy with it so far. I think it works well. No real complaints. I've used it just once to boil some dehydrated mushrooms, and I don't see any issues so far. Would recommend it. Although, they should update their photos and make sure the product matches what is in the photos! ... show more
