I ordered the 10 gallon green (aka organics) waste bin. The bin itself is pretty decent quality plastic. It is a nice deep color of green with the recycling logo printed on it. It come with an "organics" sticker that you can apply if you desire. The lid comes in two pieces where you snap the "flapper" part of the lid into the lid frame and then install the lid over the top of the bin. The lid itself is a little more flimsy and I had to bend the flapper part a bit to get it to sit square (not a big deal, but just to be noted). Other than being green (the industry standard color); or the other colors for the other bids based on purchase, this is just a trash can, so to speak so you will need to evaluate the value calculation for yourself. The 10 gallon bin is good for something like a small office pantry area, copy room or something similar. It is a little too tall to fit in a cabinet or under a sink, and not quite big enough for somewhere like outside or in a garage. The actual dimensions match what is listed in the on-line description: 20.75 x 15.5 x 11.25 inches. Overall it does what a waste bin is suppose to do!

I'm not sure what makes this an "organic waste bin container" other than the "Organics" sticker that was included. The lid came warped and I had to set a soup can on it to mostly straighten it out. Given there is not any sort of seal, we will use it for cans and bottles - organics would smell. Lastly, the lip of the lid to the top is pretty deep, so when you grab the container to pick it up, the lid lifts off. I've pictured it in the kitchen next to our13 gallon trash can with a spring-top lid, which retails for about 1/3 the price of this one.

The container itself is decent enough made for the purpose, the lid is a bit weird. You can snap both tabs in and the lid will stay locked closed but you can unsnap one side and it will pivot like a mostly normal garbage can if you want to throw a bunch of cans in at once and it was odd to figure out how it wanted to work at first. It should be able to hold a medium garbage bag if you want to keep things neat and tidy and you can easily lift the whole lid off when you want to pull out the bag or scoop cans out of it. Not huge but a decent size depending on how quick you go through pop cans. We have a deposit system here so we go to a bottle drop with the bags they give us to turn them in so probably just load their bag in and swap out as it gets full. Other then the lid being a pain it seems like it will do what we were hoping it would so happy so far.
