I have 6 chickens and it works perfect for them, we just added an extra tarp to cover the whole thing and we had to add a lock clip to the door because it doesn’t have anything to lock it closed. I would also recommend having 2 people put this together, it took us about 2.5 hours, it is do-able to assemble alone but could take you a lot longer. There’s a lot of zip ties and you have to cut the chicken wire to fit the frame but it’s durable and It looks good. also if your chickens dig as much as ours, we dug the frame down about 6 inches into the ground and they haven’t gotten out once. We put the frame together in an hour. We love the way it goes together. The longest part is the chicken wire. Its a little tedious but it wouldn't keep us from buying another. The tarp is heavyweight--we wish there would've been 2 included. We ended up purchasing another to cover 2 more sections. It is s very nice pen, plenty of room for our 16 chickens. ... show more

To out this little coop together, maybe 45 minutes. But by the end of zip tying the wire to the poles, you're 5 hours in, 8 bottles of water deep and trying not to pass out from heat exhaustion and the fact that you now need a blood transfusion because you've been eaten alive by mosquitoes.     • Not Easy to Assemble/Instructions do not match product/Not enough mesh

The instruction video shows a length of mesh that fits the height of the front and back of pen. We received a roll of mesh that is one foot shorter than the height of front/back. Contacted customer service. Received a reply that it was fine and we should patch it together. I explained that the the product doesn't match the instructions and that it won't be as secure if we patch it together as it would be if the mesh was the correct size. After doing as we were instructed, we have found that there is not enough mesh. We explained this to customer service and they assured us that there is enough and that they do not have correct videos for each product, just a general video that covers several different products. ... show more

Shipped in one large heavy box expect damaged parts . All connections are slip and lock . Shipping in one heavy box is sure to damage many pipes on ends,you will have to repair ends of connections and possibly pipe themselves. This was cheapest large chicken run I could find henceforth made from cheapest material, think wall thickness. Subject to damage in shipping. Assembly is straightforward one person job till you get to installation of wire two persons is helpfull. Wire it self may be chicken proff but not predator proff very thin.legs on run stand off of ground about 1 1/2 inches snakes mice rats enter easy you will have to make predator proff after install expect to spend as much or more than the cost of run itself. I gave this 5 stars because it was well worth the money. It came packaged well, had everything it said, and was easy to assemble. If I had to make suggestion it would be to have better quality zip ties. We did use the one's that came with the pen for smaller areas on the wire. We just went to harbor freight and purchased 600 zip ties that were heavier and a little longer. We really like it though ... show more
