  • Super fast! Boots up in only 2 seconds.
Got this just to play the same old same old. Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, and [irrelevant games here]. Roblox & Minecraft run at 60fps consistently (Wouldn’t know about Fortnite since I’m putting off redownloading it [cries in slow, sluggish Country living wifi]). Definitely an upgrade from my last laptop that would fluctuate from 60 to 49. Startup is lightning speed Lenovo Vantage battery optimization to conserve your battery’s overall lifespan AND to control how loud/quiet the fans are. (Lifesaver! well... at “the cost of performance”, but it’s not even noticeable.) Screen is pretty good, despite what I read online. I upgraded the ram with no issues (other than the extremely hard to remove back.) Definitely a good laptop for ANYONE on a budget. Only thing I hate? the non-rounded corners of the casing hurting my wrists ): ... show more

  • A good buy - but beware of known issues!
We now have a total of four of these laptops, all with identical specs. They are reliable, tough, and do exactly what we need them to as mid-range gaming laptops. They manage to hold up to the daily rigors of gaming, children, and everything else they go through. That being said, of the four we own, two have developed issues. One has a problem with the battery/charging, and must be completely power drained (left unplugged for at least a day without being used, then plugged in and allowed to charge again) before it will function properly. Another has suddenly gotten lines across the screen; they don't completely keep the computer from being used, but they're irritating and not useful when you're trying to play an immersive game or work on any graphical stuff. Overall, they're great computers, but apparently both of the issues we've seen are known problems and either aren't easily fixable by the consumer or are defects that require return/servicing by a Lenovo technician. Do I still recommend them? Sure. Problems happen. It's one of those things. But for nearly $1000, these should be far more reliable. ... show more

  • Sweet
I'm coming from an msi with a gtx 950m (which stopped working on me after 6 years) this computer so far is incredible came flawless, it's durable feeling and snappy when using it, I couldn't be happier, now I can get back to devin edit: one year later, still use it daily, works great no issues.

... show more

  • Great to game with
Bought this to replace my old A12. I can play World of Tanks on ultra high settings at 98 FPS. Everything about this laptop is great. I have no complaints at all. I highly recommend this as an affordable gaming laptop.

  • Lenovo Does not cover international warranty for this Laptop
After I purchased an Acer Nitro 5 first, I did not like the keyboard. Then I did a lot of research on which one could be the more complete laptop powerful enough to photography edition, video edition, multi tasking and of course gaming (and with a very good keyboard). This one shows valorant at 100-120 FPS smoothly. And the keyboard is excellent. But here’s the problem. Approximately 3 months from the purchase (this one was bought from Bogotá, Colombia) the computer died. I am very skilled on these matters, so I opened it disconnect the battery, reset it, try a different charger, reset it through the pinhole reset button, press the power button for 15 secs. And nothing happened, the light on the power button turns on for about 25 seconds and then goes off. The computer is dead, maybe the motherboard. I called Lenovo Colombia. My surprise, they don’t give support here. Only in US and Canada. Their excuse is they don’t sell this computer in Colombia (they sell other legions but not this one). I can imagine that it should be very difficult to receive the computer, do diagnostic and ask for the part to US. So instead they offer one of two solutions, first send the computer to US and give an address in US for them to ship the laptop. Second solution “purchase an international warranty”. Not taking any of those. Will ask a friend to take the computer to US. Get it repaired. And sell it to get me off from this Karma. Lenovo what a piece of company. I should not had change Dell for you never. Next purchase here on Amazon will be a Dell, or any other but I am going to be sure it has international warranty coverage. ... show more

  • Battery failed after two weeks of use : (
When I received the laptop all was working properly, I was very happy with the performance, however I realized that if I unplug the AC power the laptop just shut down. Lenovo vantage shows that the battery(indicator shows 97% of charge) is broken and request a replacement. So bad for a brand new gaming laptop computer, I haven't set up any games yet, I am using it just for college. The laptop only turns on with the cable, so I cannot move from the outlet, very disappointed for this issue, now I have to see how to fix it with Lenovo or the seller. ... show more
