Finally get a chance to start the set up since the weather is getting better. So excieted about this enclosure since my back yard has other animals such as dogs and hawks that are accessible. I don't want to risk my turkey chicks and miss my thanksgiving dinner! The made of the enclosure is stainless steal which is very firm and resistent from weather (I think, who knows since climate is changing, but anyawys). The assembly so far is quite easy, but definitely need more than a person to make things easier. I am still looking for a local chick seller so no chicks for the moment. Our chickens are safe and happy in there home once we’ve added an 8 each piece of wood down into the ground around this run. It’s the perfect space for our girls, the door has a cheap lock, and the stakes to hold it down are worthless, but when you get something so cheap, there are bound to be those “little things”, my fiancé and I are very happy with our new run. ... show more

I bought this chicken coop to protect our birds from hawks while they are still small, it's easy to install (netting took some time). It’s spacious enough for them to play and it holds up pretty well so far.

Welp bought it in may- still not all together (July an only 1 person). It been raining for 3 weeks here. I dont like how they show the wire in the directions, it would of been alot easier if the wire was as tall as they shown! The only reason i bought this coop was to keep hawks out. Which i know it will do. Wire very flexible not like the stiff chicken wire. If you do buy this coop, i would advise you to buy wire cutters. It doesn't come with the kit. If i edit this then didnt have enough wire. If i havent then they give you enough. ... show more

I love the pen it was sorta easy to assemble but did not come with the door latch , I need to have the seller send me one so I can keep my ducks inside and out of my house ! Please and thank you ! Update , my 4 chickens were killed and two ducks were killed cause seller is too lazy to send a damn latch . ... show more

    • The door sucks
I guess I'm not surprised since this thing was pretty cheap. But the instructions were bad, set up was a pain in the butt. Putting the chicken wire on was definitely a two person job. had to get some stronger zip ties to secure the chicken wire. Bought extra bungee cords to secure the tarp down as well as extra stakes and cinder blocks to put around the base - we live in TX and it gets windy. But the one thing that is driving me nuts is the door... It's a piece of crap. Doesn't ever close all the way and has come off the hinges a couple times..we bought an s hook carabeaner thing to try and give it more of a secure latch, but the opening at the bottom of the door is still large enough that my chickens can just slide out. For all the time it took to set up, plus all the upgrades it still doesn't feel secure to me! I should've just spent a couple more bucks and got a better set up. ... show more
