I love the sleek look. I got this for winter to keep from frostbite. I don't have many birds, so they need a little extra. I'm not happy with it being expensive, but I love that it hangs on the wall or sits in the coop. It doesn't light up, so it won't disturb sleeping birds, and as far as I know, it doesn't have an alarm if tipped, it just shuts off. The shut-off is at a 45-degree angle. It also has a long cord to place where you need it. Quite happy with this. I will recommend this to friends when I see it on sale. ... show more

    • Radiant heat for my chickens. Keeps my coop safe as well.
BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this Chickcozy coop heater panel. 2. The current price of $40 is reasonable. LIKES: - Only 200 watts. Enough to warm the chickadees in the winter, in a nice controlled fashion. - Adjustable. - Remote control. Some shoes are just not made for coops. - UL Tested. DISLIKES: - None.
