We have a multiple dog home and couch covers are essential to extending the life of our couch and keeping it smelling fresh. Every single cover I have tried previously moves and gets bunched up within hours of putting it on. So frustrating! We have had this one now for a few months and I am so pleased that I am ordering a second one as a backup to use when I want to switch out and wash the other. I washed and put this back on the couch yesterday and it is still where it belongs after we have sat on it multiple times and the digs have been on and off it over the past 2 days. It will only need minor adjustments over the next week and rearranging after maybe a week and a half. Can I tell you, I am so glad I found this and don't have to fix the couch cover five times a day anymore. It is soft, washes really well. The quality is excellent effort how inexpensive it is. I got the light grey and the color is exactly as was pictured. It is quilted and durable so no stretching out or snagging. This really works so good, it was an absolute game changer for me. What a great couch cover! Our couch was actually a few inches longer than the measurements for the XL because the cushions are so big. I think the measurements are based on the board that goes across the back of the couch not the cushions that hang off the sides. I’m so glad I didn’t go with the L. We didn’t need the batons that come with it for the back of the cushions because it fits like a glove, not a lot of slack. We only needed the batons that go on the side cushions.     • Durable, protected against spills, captures LOTS of dirt and hair from pets.

Quality is good - deep color (maroon/win for me) so they look very nice. Durable so far but not too heavy - Fabric is holding up to our pets, large dogs, frequent on and off the couch - sometimes racing around and jumping on and off (prolonged indoors makes them stir crazy). Elastic straps don't work on our oversized loveseat and a couch, but works on other couch. Not a big deal as back tends to hold position. Easy to put on - labels indicate what is the back and front. Foam inserts to help hold it in place - I couldn't get them to work and they ended up toys for the dogs. Held up to first washing - no change to color. Works MUCH better than just blankets at staying in place and capturing significant quantities of dirt and dog hair. Water resistance is good - Had some smaller spills and liquids did not pass through to the furniture. But fabric feels nice - is soft cloth, not plastic. I worried it was too soft to handle dog claws, but so far so good. For the price, very happy! ... show more

Hi everyone! This is a pretty standard cover that didn’t surprise me in any way, but I still want to say a few words about it. The material of the cover is quite soft and pleasant to the touch, though at the same time, the fabric is dense, and the product is well-stitched. Overall, that’s the main thing you need to know about it because it’s not particularly attractive in appearance—just a gray cover, very utilitarian. It’s perfect for hiding minor imperfections on the sofa or preventing them from appearing. It attaches quickly and conveniently with elastic straps to the back of the sofa, though it can sometimes shift or roll up on the seat. It fit perfectly on my 78-inch sofa! The manufacturer claims that this cover is water-resistant, but fortunately, I didn’t need to test that. We don’t have pets at home, but I think that for protecting furniture from dogs and cats, you might need a more robust cover. ... show more

Update: WOW! I am so impressed. Last week, a plate of eggs and sour cream, with salsa was spilled all over the cover. I was so worried it went through to the couch. I took the cover off and there was nothing that had seeped through. I put the cover in the wash immediately and it looks brand new. Like nothing was ever spilled. This is a great cover! A couple months ago we bought a sectional at costco, we have a dog that no matter what we do loves to lay on the couch. I wanted to protect the couch and keep dog hair off as much as possible. So I went on the search for something to cover it. For months we just had sheets covering it. Which did not look very good at all. I couldn't find any custom covers unless I was willing to spend $500+ so I started looking at covers like this but couldn't find anything for sectionals. Also they were pretty expensive at around $70-$100 and I didn't want to spend that either. So I found these and read reviews. As probably you are doing right now, I hoe hummed around and thought well maybe I will find something better. I finally broke down and thought for the price I'll try them. I ordered one to start with, and it came nicely packaged so I put it on and.....wow!!!! It looked great and it fit!! So I ordered another one same size (XL). I put them on and while they aren't a perfect fit they fit nicely. I tucked the side into the sectional and folded one end and put one over the arm of the sectional. All in all I am super pleased. So far 4 weeks later. They still look great. Finally something to cover the sectional. I cut the straps off as they didn't fit around our sectional. And that helped the back to lay straight. I'm impressed. Quality does seem a little cheaper than the ones my parents have on there sectional but they also spent $90 a piece on theirs and they are super hot as they have sherpa material on the bottom. PROS: This sofa cover was easy to install. It took less than 10 minutes. The sofa cover is reversible and the fabric appears to be durable. Overall quality appears to be good. The cover washes well. Does seem to be water resistant. I have three dogs who like to lay on the sofa as they chew their bones. Sometimes they slobber a lot leaving a wet spot. The wet spot has not penetrated through the sofa cover leaving my sofa fabric clean and dry. For me that's a big plus. CONS: The sofa cover is not slip-resistant. The cover comes with (5) "slip resistant" foam rollers that are supposed to keep the cover in place. They do not. They constantly come loose no matter how deep or shallow into the sofa arm and back corners you tuck them. The elastic straps on the ends of the sofa covers back are too long and not adjustable. Because the straps are too long and not adjustable the ends of the sofa covers back do not stay in place. At first, I thought I may have purchased the wrong size. After verifying my sofa's dimensions (84" long X 36" deep, with a 68"long X 22" deep seat and 32" overall height) and comparing them to the dimensions listed for the product, the size I purchased was correct. Overall, based on my experience with this product, this sofa cover does not work well because it does not stay in place. I was constantly having to re-tuck the cover's sides and back and trying to keep the very loose elastic straps wrapped around my sofas back corners. If you have senior pets that aren't able to get up and barf on your favorite sweater and instead just barf right on the couch, you may want to consider this item. It is so easy to wipe off and rinse messes, then pop the cover into the washer. The material is soft and comfortable for all human and animal residents of my home. We don't really use the foam tubes to help keep the edges on as they slip off anyway. The backing is pretty slip resistant but we still have to smooth this out after each use to keep it looking tidy.
