Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. It arrived overnight. That's quick. It did arrive in only it's own packaging. Seeing as it's glass, I'm surprised it's shipped this way. I would have assumed it would have shipped with an outer shipping box. That also means when purchasing it as a gift, it'll arrive and everyone will know what it is. Super easy to use. The unit looks great. It's blue light is a nice touch. Can be used with the included loose tea infuser or without. I’ve used this for awhile now and absolutely love it. It boils quite quickly, so making a cup of tea is so easy, somehow it just seems faster than the traditional kettle you put in the stove. In fact, I find that my family uses this much more than we ever did our regular kettle. Cleaning is simple. The top flips open wide enough to fit under the fridge water dispenser, so it fills easily from my fridge for filtered water or the sink. I was concerned initially from reviews of electric kettles shattering, but this has been problem free to date. I’ve even put milk in it, to make hot cocoa bombs, but that did leave marks on the stainless steel bottom for whatever reason. The marks came out with vinegar, so good as new. The only thing I dislike is that the center piece of the top can pop out if you’re tipping kettle too far over trying to empty, but once you k ow this (from having it pop off) it’s easy to avoid happening. It does not have a temperature control like some models, just a simple switch in the handle to turn on and heat water to boiling. The blue ambient light is a cute touch. ... show more

The first kettle I received made a clicking noise every few minutes for 1-2 hours after every use even when empty and unplugged/disconnected from the base. I returned it and got a replacement. The replacement only makes the clicking noise 1 time about 2-3 minutes after I empty it and unplug it. I think it may be the auto-shutoff resetting or something. Both kettles I received worked as intended however. They boil water. Not much else you can ask of it. It does take a little longer than I would like to boil the minimum amount of water, but for such a low price from a respectable brand I don't mind. The lid opens up all the way so you can easily fill or clean it. The cord on the base is a bit short. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Yes, get it. Great value, generous size, all glass, easy to clean. I've timed it, takes approx 10 minutes to boil from turn on to shut off. It comes to a rolling boil for approx 1 minute before it shuts itself off. I bought this to replace using the Keur*g for my tea bags. My husband uses the 'single cup coffee machine' with a kpod for coffee, I go behind him and use an empty cycle for my tea, but my tea always takes like his flavored coffee pod. Also, the Keur*g machine does not boil water, just warms it. *This item actually boils the water which makes it taste cleaner and better. Plus, boiling water kills bacteria in sink/well water. At least it makes me feel better to drink from this instead of boiling from metal pot on stove or using warmed water from the coffee pot. ... show more

This little pot is really exactly what I wanted. It heats a liter of water in about 4 minutes to a very serious boil, it's quiet and has a good spout that does not drip when you are pouring. It has a very nice clean look and does not take up a lot of counter space. I particularly like the blue lights, which switch off when your water temperature has reached the full boiling point.
