    • Quite good overall, with a couple of minor flaws
When my electric Sun-Joe pressure washer gave up the ghost, I decided I wanted a gas powered washer. I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on it but I was willing to spend up to $350 for something reliable. This Champion fit the bill with a few considerations. The good: The Honda engine starts on the first pull and my experience with Honda tells me it should be very reliable. The connections are solid with no leaks. It's easy to change nozzles for different needs and the accessories I had for my old washer seem to work well with it. The wand is sturdy but lightweight and easy to handle. The caveats: The fresh water and pressure hose connections protrude from near the bottom of the machine in the rear and near the wheels. When rolling up and down stairs (It's pretty heavy) it's easy to catch the connections on the edge and if not careful, they could get bent or broken. If you tilt too far back while moving it they could also drag on the ground. It's not a huge deal, but it makes it harder to roll around than it needs to be. The included high pressure hose is a not very flexible pvc. Stretching it out to get the maximum distance from the machine is a pain and winding it back up is also not a lot of fun. I will probably replace with another hose which adds to the price. Overall I would recommend and I am happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • Won’t stand behind it
Used it twice when I first got it, almost returned it the same day because it wouldn't start finally started after pulling it for half a hour. winterized it, drained the gas and stored it for the winter, never started again!. gave up after 3 hours. got the 20 year old pressure washer out with the cracked fuel tank and leaking carb, started on first pull. Emailed tech support and got nowhere. Tech support told me to call for repairs. wait time on hold was 60 minutes. sorry, I'm not sitting on hold for an hour. I am at the point now where it’s money down the drain This champion has the first and last jap (honda) motor I will ever buy. I have come to the conclusion honda motors are nothing but garbage Response from champion: We are sorry to hear this. We do advise check to make sure the engine is producing a spark, as no spark will prevent it from starting. As this pressure washer has a Honda engine, you must contact Honda for technical support. They will be able to guide you on the appropriate next steps. Thank you for your patience. They refuse to stand behind their product that is still under warranty.
