I bought this fan as a warehouse deal...The motor was broken or the receiver. I am not sure which, but I decided to order a second BRAND NEW fan. It works perfectly. The fan was for my office, which is a small 12ft by 12ft room. At a "1" on the fan, it provides enough wind power to blow light bites of paper off my desk. So it is mighty. As for the light, it is strong, but has different levels and tones to change it. For $60.00 and easy installation, it was worth it. Also, we live in a historic house, so you want to be careful with the weight of a heavy ceiling. This ceiling fan is very light. The only thing that worried me a little and it could be normal is that the old receiver (which could have been the reason, the other fan didn't work) was warm, when I took it off and replaced it with the new receiver. Personally, I don't like all these remote control fan, but it seems like finding one without a remote control is hard. I like the old pull chain fans. ... show more

    • Great Product BUT phone App is useless and remote has TINY type and buttons.

Overall the fan seems well made and is very light weight. It pushes a lot of air and is very nice to have it in the kitchen. The light works quite well with all the adjustments available on the remote... unlimited white color tones and brightness! It was very easy to assemble and install. However, I did not use the attached hot wire connections in the top part of the assembly... too awkward... I just used regular wire nuts as in any other electrical application. Now for what I did not like: The fan motor hums a little louder than expected when on the higher settings. The suggested phone app seems simple enough... BUT IT WOULD NOT CONNECT WITH BLUETOOTH with the meager instructions included. Should have been WIFI instead of bluetooth. And the remote is the tiniest remote with a whole bunch of buttons with the SMALLEST TYPE I have ever seen on a remote. You need 20/20 eagle eye vision to read what it says! Needs to be redesigned to accommodate the batteries sideways and give more room for the buttons. However, once you memorize the buttons, the remote works well with all of the advertised adjustablility of the great little fan/light. I took off 1 star for the loud hum, small remote and non-connectivity with the app. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Perfect functionality, simple install, can mount against any ceiling long as there’s sturdy wood for screws to secure mount. The metal mount acts as electrical box so no extra box necessary, just needs electrical wire available like from existing light fixture. This fan is small but powerful..I had a 52in one in there didn't do the job as this one....now my husband is thinking about replacing my other ceiling fans...comes with remote. Do not lose your remote because the fan does not work without it..I seem some reviews said it was not bright enough but I don't know why....It was really bright but you can dim. Why do I give this fan a "3"? A couple of days ago it started making a clicking noise while running. The sound is not loud but I find it very distracting. I did have the fan installed by an electrician. Took him about an hour. The fan is in what was originally the kitchen and very small. I use the mid color temperature light setting (personal preference). For the small room, the light provided is good. I use the lowest fan speed and it provides plenty of breeze for the room. One thing to note, at least on my remote, the top right button is labeled "fan off". In truth, the instructions, and actual operation of the button turns off both the fan and light. If not for the distracting clicking noise, I would give this fan a 5. ... show more

Easy to install. Great price. Moves a ton of air. I like a ton of air flow and a cool house (like 68). We moved to AZ and I didn't want a crazy high electric bill. We bought these and keep the house at 75. I'm still comfortable because of how much air movement these provide.
