I replaced an old, worn-out, and noisy 90s fan in my living room with this new fan/light model. It is very quiet with a DC motor!!! Install was easy after watching the video on the Amazon product page. My install has sloped ceiling and faux beams so the choice of 3 extending rods was perfect as I used the mid-length option to allow best clearance from the beams. So far, everything is working well. The instructions aren’t bad, but watch the video on the product page. They assemble and install the fan in a different order in the video, but I found that to be a much easier way to assemble and install the fan. Had to use a few of the balancing stickers on each fan on one of the blades, but the fan doesn’t wobble at all and works well. ... show more

A lot of work seems to have gone into the developing, constructing, and packaging this fan. Why can’t someone put another hour or two into making better instructions? Attached are two photos. One is a list of all the components included in the box, which I began by confirming. Then I’m cooking along to Part 1 of “Install the downrod assembly” (the other photo), which tells me to thread the “suspension cable” through the “suspension housing.” The trouble is neither the suspension cable nor the suspension housing were in the list of included components. Do I have the right instructions? Was the writer stoned when writing the instructions? Or, were instructions for two different products inadvertently combined? I think I figured it out but it took two hours when one should have done it. Seems like a good product. It certainly is good looking. ... show more
