I didn't realize storing makeup in a mini fridge was a thing until my wife expressed interest in one. Looking around on Amazon I stumbled on many mini fridges, however this one was one of only a few to specifically mentioned beauty / makeup. Although sold and shipped directly by CAYNEL (thus not eligible for Amazon Prime), it shipped for free and arrived within 5 days. First impressions are that it's a cute looking little fridge. My wife opted for the Sugar White color, which is more of an off-white with a pink'ish interior. The feet, as well as the door handle and hinge are somewhat of a metallic, rose gold in color. The entire fridge is plastic, but build quality seems solid. The inside of the fridge has 3 main open compartments and a little shelving drawer at the bottom, while the door can hold two holders with optional dividers. Prior to purchasing I couldn't find any information on the cooling capacity of this fridge, nor any information on how to adjust the temperature. Now that we have it, I can share with you that the temperature is preset at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. That seemed odd to me at first, until I did some research and learned that the optimal storage temperature for makeup is 45-50 degrees. Unlike a regular fridge, these mini fridges don't have a compressor and instead rely on thermoelectric (Peltier effect) cooling. Essentially it contains a specific type of electric component that with applied current, draws heat from one side to the other. This then in turn gets vented out by a little fan. This type of cooling is often limited to cooling 20-30 degrees from ambient, but some mini fridges do better than others. I obviously wanted to measure how well this unit would perform and took measurements with my temperature gauge. The results are as follows: Turned off, the ambient (and internal) temperatures were about 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Once plugged in, the internal fan started cooling the fridge with 43-45 degrees and after letting it cool for about an hour, the internal temperature reached nearly 50 degrees exactly. (photo attached). When running you can definitely hear the little fan - but it's not loud by any stretch (my laptop is louder) - and according to my multi-meter, it registered at a mere 17 db. (photo attached). All in all this is a terrific little fridge and my wife is extremely happy with it. We did have a small cosmetic defect that appears to have been caused during shipping, but CAYNEL responded quickly (within 12 hours) and immediately rectified the problem, so their level of customer service is top-notch as well! The media could not be loaded. Update: stopped working after less than a month of use. Definitely not worth $130! Short version: Does not have 15L of functionality, arrived damaged, and seller never responded to multiple messages. Amazon refunded. Details: I've had a few makeup fridges, 4L, 20L, and this 15L one in cream color. This one is not quite worth the amount of money compared to other options of fridges available on Amazon, for $130+ being charged because you do not get full use of the liter size compared to other models. There is wasted space and a lack of functional organization. The majority of the available room is in the drawer but you have to throw everything in there with no organization. The shelves and drawer easily fall out with simple use. The shelves have a bit of a lip to keep the products in place but that also means that if it catches as you pull it out, then you pull the whole shelving unit out and drop all of your items. The bottom drawer has no side ridges that hold it in place so any forward leaning or forceful open will cause the drawer to fall forward and again drop your items. There is wasted vertical space on the top shelves as most products are not that tall and if they are, then they are probably also so wide they take most of the shelf space which limits the number of items you can store. The aesthetic appeal is very nice which is what sold me on it in the first place. The outer cream color with the rose gold accents is beautiful and classy. But once you open it, the plastic quality of the shelves and lack of functionality kill it and I do not find myself in a place of spa-like Zen enjoyment in my daily routine. There is no temperature control which is needed for cosmetics since your not trying to freeze your items at a standard 34 degree temp. Oh, and it arrived damaged. The back cover of the unit that covers the lights and fan was disconnected. It could be replaced by popping the cover back on and hopefully not breaking the side brackets but I shouldn't have to risk that. I contacted the seller twice and never heard back from them so Amazon took care of it by refunding me. I purchased another major brand in a 20L version with open shelves and door baskets and fit more than twice as much in it. Plus I can control the temperature. ... show more

I honestly didn't know what to expect when purchasing a beauty fridge, let alone what size I actually needed, so I purchased a couple different ones that were different sizes. This fridge was the first to arrive, and I automatically fell in love with it after opening the box. I'm not really a girly girl and pink definitely isn't my favorite color, but somehow this just fits. This fridge is very spacious with 3 shelves, one deep pull out drawer on the bottom, and 2 shelves that attach to the back of the door. This entire fridge is customizable, so you can choose to use all the shelves/drawer that comes with it, or you can choose to leave it off for extra space. The light inside is also a great addition! Not to mention that this fridge comes with a 1 year warranty, which is better than any other offers I've come across while shopping for a beauty fridge. I've had my fridge for a little over a month now, and it's still going strong. The temp inside reaches 50°, and the temp is displayed on the outside of the fridge. My items are all kept cool, and I've yet to have any problems with condensation pooling anywhere inside the fridge (don't keep the door open for lengthy periods!). The motor is a tad louder than I'd expected, but I'm able to overlook it as my fridge is in my bathroom and I also usually sleep with a sound machine as I wake to the slightest sound.
