  • This pot is wonderful!
This pot has improved my days in the kitchen; it's definitely been one of my best purchases. The Instant Pot is a game changer! It cooks everything faster, healthier, and with amazing flavor. • Excellent choice for an Instant Pot
3 years later and its still going strong. The top needs a new gasket so for pressure cooking it can be temperamental. Besides that still awesome at everything it does.

  • Easy to use and easy to clean
This dual instant pot is AWESOME! It’s the best gift I’ve given myself ever. I love this thing. If you’re thinking of diving into the pressure cooker/ air fryer realm of cooking then this is the item for you! I cooked an entire meal including soup and a corned beef brisket in under to hours. I recommend the instant pot! ... show more

  • Seems to work as expected, easy to clean.
Purchased this to replace my 8 quart Emeril Lagasse that quit heating up after about 3 years. I used it probably 3 times a week or more. Love electric pressure cookers! So quick and easy to prepare a meal. I am hoping this will last a good long time. I don't use the air fryer on it very often, but wanted to have that option. ... show more

  • Good for the home cook, professionals should stay away
Tldr; if this had a real sous vide circulator and accurate thermometer, a 500 F broiler, and more accurate cooking options, it would be show stopper. Unfortunately, it doesn't, so it's good to save space (maybe) for the home cook, but worthless in a professional kitchen. Someone else wrote about sous vide not reaching temperature. He must have not read the directions; you need it fill water to the "1/2" mark. It then reaches temp (195 F reached 185F, and 144 reached 135F). Sure, this could be better, but for an all-in-one device, it should accomplish its task as promised. All you have to do is increase your target temp by 10 degrees. Your Instant Pot may differ, but for a Chinese-built multicooker, that isn't bad. Temperature seemed to increase 1-2 degrees per 10 minutes without food in there, but maybe that offsets the cooling from food placed inside. I returned my Ninja Foodi 6.5Qt multicooker in favor of trying this, or ditching both. My old Ninja couldn't even reach 165 F while slow cooking chili on Hi. It could just barely saute, so I got rid of it thinking these multicookers have no place in a real kitchen. As a last ditch effort, I got this Instant Pot. My initial impressions are Instant Pot is of slightly higher quality even if they look made at the same manufacturing plant. The finish seems better, the parts seem more solid, and the interactive interface seems more robust. I preferred the astetics of the Ninjas interface, but that's not nearly as important as cooking. The Instant Pot reminds you to when turn your food- a nice feature so you don't have to watch the clock. Sous vide works more or less as expected for a multicooker. Broiling reached 400-450 F between the inner pot and the hottest point on the element itself. This goes to show you broiling isn't really broiling, but for the home cook trying to brown scallops, this should work. I'd also like to note, the cooker advertised 400 F, so it's performing as expected. I think these multicookers in general are largely still a gimmick when compared to quality single-purpose appliances, but that wasn't my goal purchasing one. I needed a pressure cooker, which this does excellently well, but also a slow cooker. This sautes, pressurizes, and air fries relatively well in the same pot which is why I bought it. I'll be honest, I would rather pay $300 for a quality German or American-made component which broils at 550 F, slow cooks by monitoring inner pot temp, and sous vides with a circulator, but no one makes a multicooker like that. As such, for the aspiring home cook, this will be a great pot to consolidate equipment. Mind you, this takes up about the space of two 6 QT cookers due to the air fryer or lid needing it's own spot at any given time. This hasn't replaced my convection counter-top oven, or my Crock Pot, but it can do both in a pinch depending on the recipe. So, for big banquet meals, it can be used for a quite a few things. Instant Pot did a much better job at execution than Ninja, although I'd quickly reject both in a professional setting. If you want something that does a reasonably well job at home, I think your safe to get one. I got a Amazon Warehouse lightly damaged one for about $40 less. It has a nice few dents in the side, but it works just fine. Someone needs to make a professional version with some quality cooking additions. ... show more

  • Nice Duo Unit
Maybe a buit late to the InstaPot/ Air Fryer craze but glad I waited! This unit is really nice and only the one appliance for both uses.

  • Time saver, all-in-one cooking appliance
Love my insta pot. I have narcolepsy and thus typically have very little energy to complete basic daily tasks. This has been a time saver and makes it easy for me to cook a week’s worth of meals with very little effort and few dirty dishes. This cooker can be used for anything from soups to roast, and can be used to make one serving or many. I only with the aluminum exterior was more durable as it dents very easily, and the dents are hard to remove completely. Wish I bought this ages ago! ... show more

  • Fantastic! Really love it!
This thing is fantastic! My Ninja died after many years. I did really like it. This was a lower cost but I was uncertain. Boy! Do I love this! The removeable separate air fryer top is great as opposed to the one piece Ninja. The stainless steel pot is way, way better than the ceramic Ninja. This makes perfect rice and perfect everything! The air fryer is great too. I am so glad I bought this..I use several times a week. Definately recommend! ... show more
