My husband bought this for me because he knows how much I hate food prep. I love this so much and have even put Oreos in it to chop for a crust for a pie I made. It is super heavy duty. Easy to clean. Easy to use, I use it almost daily. I even bought one for my mom because she has rheumatoid arthritis and her hands are not what they used to be. So this makes it easier for her to just put in whatever she needs to chop and it does the job perfectly. ... show more

  • Powerful little machine!
I bought this chopper hoping it would make the chopping of food easier - this has surpassed my expectations! It works phenomenally and is so quick and easy to use. I found that if I want an item chopped, I need to just pulse the top button a couple of time and voila - it is perfectly done. I can hold the top down longer if I want something more closely minced. It has so much power and cuts a tremendous amount of time out of food prep. ... show more

Ninja products for preparing and cooking too are some of the best appliances you can get and worth the prices. I had bought one of these many years ago, but lost it after the move to our new place. This machine allows you to chop vegetables and other foods at your own pulse power. Longer pulse, meaning if you press and hold the top longer, will achieve smaller chopping. It is powerful, very easy to use, and easy to clean with caution. All blades are sharp and this is no exception, when it comes to rinsing the blade or cleaning, but this small chopper wonderfully does the chopping and gets rinsed smoothly. The bottom rubber base is very good in keeping it in place, and blades chop in seconds. People often think smaller choppers are not worth the money, but this one gives you a very good amount chopped and done for meal making and more (See the size next to the 2-cup measuring glass) Cut harder and longer vegetables, like carrots before putting in the chopper. Remember this one is a small chopper and you can fit the right amount in the container if you cut the vegetables a little. Don't forget to put the lid on before putting the motor top and start chopping. We are very happy with this chopper. ... show more

  • Best product!!!
I LOVE this mini blender! I purchased a cheap blender and within a few used three it away and purchased this. I saw someone on instagram using this instead of the Ninja creami and I had to heat it since the Ninja creami was sold out. So glad I did because this is much cheaper. I freeze my protein shack in a silicone ice tray and then blend them up in this blender. So yummy and easy! This is also easy to clean. Great product and I highly recommend spending a little more money to get this Ninja blender vs a cheap blender. ... show more

  • Powerful and Consistent Chopping Here
I'm very happy with this little processor. I bought this to replace a 3-Cup Cuisinart processor that had served me well for nearly a decade of use before finally giving up. After reading the positive reviews, I thought...why not? I had a large dinner coming up, which meant a lot of onion-, tomato- and celery-dicing. I've owned the Ninja Bullet blender for a couple of years, so I hoped the Express Chopper would pack the same powerful punch. I was not disappointed but let me share one caveat -- don't go wild chopping or you'll end up with a pulverized product. Instead, "pulse" the large button on the top. A few short bursts is all you need to finely mince a large onion. The key to the Ninja Chopper's success is four staggered blade, each one approximately 1/2-inch above the one below. The blade configuration eliminates uneven chopping that can happen in processors that only have blades at the bottom. The power and the blade configuration are excellent, but that's not even what I like the best about this littlest Ninja product. The best part is the lid that fits on the chopping container and allows you to chop without getting the underside of the motor part messy. The lid has a small hole in the top, which allows the motor assembly to fit directly on the blade assembly. After chopping, lift off the motor and you'll find a little flip-lid that closes to seal the food you've just chopped. This little unit ground blanched almonds into smooth almond paste in under 30 seconds, and that includes the time it took to remove the lid and scrape down the sides with a small silicone spatula. As I said - pulse only unless you're looking to make something like almond paste/butter. It also performed well when I made homemade mayonnaise. Smoother than my blender makes it. The blades lift out for easy cleaning. I've found that a quick rinse in hot water is usually sufficient if I need to use the chopper again. One last cool feature -- the non-slip base on the food container. It protects the bottom of the chopper and prevents it from sliding across your counter when chopping. All-in-all, I like the Ninja Express Chopper even better than my dearly departed Cuisinart chopper. I cook a lot and this makes food preparation so much simpler. I've only had this little chopper for about a month, so I'll come back and update in six months, or so, but I've had so much luck with my Ninja Bullet blender and I use it almost everyday, so I don't foresee any motor problems with the chopper. I highly recommend this little power-packed chopper. ... show more
