I bought this Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop for my wife after the cheap “Temu special” chopper we had finally gave up on us. I came across this little gem and it has been a huge upgrade. It’s compact, easy to use, and does a great job chopping onions, vegetables, herbs, and even grinding ingredients for meal prep. The 200-watt motor has plenty of power for everyday kitchen tasks, and the 16-ounce bowl is the perfect size for most jobs. My wife absolutely loves it and uses it regularly. Cleanup is quick, and it feels much more durable and well-made than the bargain chopper it replaced. Best of all, it’s not overly expensive for the quality and performance you get. If you’re looking for a reliable food chopper without spending a fortune, this Ninja is an excellent choice.

Despite over 6,000 reviews already on this product, I have to throw my 2 cents in! I absolutely love this chopper. I only wish I had bought it sooner. It really opens up a lot of recipes that you probably wouldn't bother with because of the ease of use. For example--Avocado Toast. Now before I got the Ninja, I would hand chop onion and garlic and the avocado and then mix them together. It didn't take that long and was a fairly easy, fun process. But NOW, it's stupid easy and almost instant. You just pop a garlic clove, 1/4 of an onion and an avocado in the chopper (I also add salt, pepper, and lemon juice) and it's done in seconds. I spread it on the toast and voila! Delicious Avocado Toast--better than any avocado toast I've ever had in a restaurant. Some of the coffee shops charge like $15 for avocado toast and this is WAY better! And a heckuva lot cheaper! And SUPER FAST! I also make snowballs or shaved ice with it--literally takes just a few seconds. I chop smaller ice cubes in the Ninja and then pour the syrup over it. I made Vanilla/Ice Cream flavored syrup out of simple syrup (water and sugar boiled then cooled) and a couple of drops of vanilla extract. I think I might go make one right now LOL! It's so easy! I also make smoothies--again, it couldn't be easier. Ice, frozen fruit, fresh fruit, juice and out comes a tasty, healthy smoothie. I just ordered some Moringa here on Amazon to add to my smoothies--that Moringa is good stuff if you haven't tried it. Black bean dip--again, so easy! Wash a can of beans, put them in the Ninja chopper with 1/2 an onion, a clove of garlic, jalepeno if you have it, salt and pepper. Maybe add a few tablespoons of water to make the dip softer and smoother. Boom! Great black bean dip. Some people pan fry the onions and garlic in oil before putting them in the machine. Could go either way...... I could go on and on with the recipes. Hummus, Chicken Salad, potato salad, bread crumbs, hash browns, sauces, dips--you name it! And it's so fast! The next thing I want to try is a Mint Julep. I'm going to put mint, ice, and simply syrup into the chopper, then into the glass with some bourbon. Sounds good, right? Look, for $20, this might be the all time greatest NO BRAINER! Yes, I could see the potential for a tiny amount of food getting caught in the motor housing, but that hasn't happened to me so far, and it looks like it would be a snap to clean if it did. Speaking of cleaning--this thing is a breeze to clean. I literally just rinse it off after using and it's ready to go for the next mini-project. If you do any cooking at all, I highly recommend the Ninja Express Chopper!

Compact but mighty! Chops vegetables quickly and easy to clean. Mixed my wonton filling without any issues, grinding my meat to the perfect consistency. Takes a bit to get to used how long to hold it down to process your food to the consistency you want, but I feel that is the same for most food processors.

I received this Ninja Chopper as a gift about 10 years ago and I've always loved the way it chops things up for me. Although it still chopped well, the rubber around the bottom was lose and kept falling off from so many uses. Since I liked it so much, I recently purchased a new one. I like the fact that it fits nicely in the corner of my counter. It's not overly noisy and blends, chops and puree's my food the way I like it. Truly a good investment.

This is easy to use and convenient. Be aware the capacity is small, which is okay for two people. Also I haven't managed to chop anything coarsely, it gets pretty fine pretty fast. I need to not chop so much by hand since I have hand arthritis.

I love this! In fact this is my second one! The first one was a gift from Ninja but now my husband always uses that one to make dog food in small batches and so I had to get another one. Buy it! This is a fantastic chopper! It’s fast and you can even store your goods in the base! It’s a little noisy but it works so fast (15 sec increments) that this isn’t an issue for me. It’s very durable it’s lightweight and easy to store. My other one is still going strong after 6 plus years! Fantastic airtight lid for storage!

This is a wonderful little device. I got it because I've been growing lots of herbs and wanting to make things like basil pesto sauce, and herb-butters, without spending hours on the chopping board, and also to be able to finely chop extremely hot Scotch Bonnet peppers (for making a fermented pepper mash) without getting any of the juices in my eyes or on my body. This little gadget quickly whizzes dry ingredients into proper tiny bits, without liquefying them. Does the job in literally seconds and then is extremely easy to get the contents out, no scraping down around deep blades as with the old blenders. The blades just lift out and rinse off, leaving a cylindrical container that is simple to scrape out with a rubber spatula. The base of the device does double duty as a lid, so that if you care to store the contents you have processed in the plastic body, you just pop it on top of the canister, after you remove the motor and the blades. It comes apart so easily. It's small and doesn't take up a bunch of space on your counter and makes formerly tedious jobs literally last seconds. My housemate thought it chopped the onions too finely, as he prefers chunks. I suppose it depends on the recipe. Since I'm mostly dealing with canning, preserving, and flavoring butters and cheeses, I like things diced finely so that is not an issue for me and certainly worth it to not have to chop onions by hand! I can't recommend it more highly. Unbelievably good value for the price!

First, This is a long winded review, I am over 60 Dad who loves to cook and bake and now lives alone with just my dog (Lucy). I do have two wonderful adult boys who are out on there own. I bought this a few years ago because they would come over for dinner without any warning. They really looked forward to our meals together whether it was a big spread for dinner or some delicious waffles for breakfast. It never mattered what time of day it was, they knew when they were here I would prepare something delicious. But I found I needed a chopper to speed up my prep time !! They enjoy my cooking because I take the time to make my food, unlike many who open cans or boxes and we’re never taught how to cook or bake. I have had this for a couple of years, I originally bought it to chop up some veggies, and to speed up my prep time and it did a great job. At that time I was enjoying cooking and doing quite a bit, and trying to make everything from scratch. But as time went by the kids had moved into the fast lane of life and I have no regrets, but making a big dinner for one (me) just got to be too much. So my little chopper started living in the pantry (I actually forgot I even had it). I want to mention that I have a full sized have a Cuisinart Food processor, but to get it out of the pantry and to actually use it, was just a pain. It was too big for what I needed. I also want to mention that I also have a little Havanese (Lucy) who is my more than just a dog, she is my companion/friend. So recently Lucy got sick, still not sure what is or was wrong with her since I am still treating her. I had done a lot of research and had put her on a rice and boiled chicken diet. This works pretty good, but cutting up the cooked chicken was not really doing what I needed. Then I remembered this little chopper. I got it out of the pantry, cleaned it up, and put it back to work. It really does a fantastic job of cutting up the chicken and at the same time blending the chicken and rice and some of her dry food together. Fantastic!!! Problem solved, now she eats all of her food, instead of just finding the chicken and pushing the rest out on the floor. I am already coming up with some other uses for this little chopper. And if it get worn out or if it develops some cracks, whatever, I will just get another one. In fact I may just get another to have on hand. I see a lot of comments about cleaning the area up where the motor sits on the lid, what I do is put about 3/4 cup of water with a couple of drops of dawn, then run the machine for a couple of seconds, ta-dah everything is clean. A quick rinse of the base and a paper towel to dry up my by the gear and I am ready use it again.
