  • Great Little Chopper That Replaced Our Cheap Temu One
I bought this Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop for my wife after the cheap “Temu special” chopper we had finally gave up on us. I came across this little gem and it has been a huge upgrade. It’s compact, easy to use, and does a great job chopping onions, vegetables, herbs, and even grinding ingredients for meal prep. The 200-watt motor has plenty of power for everyday kitchen tasks, and the 16-ounce bowl is the perfect size for most jobs. My wife absolutely loves it and uses it regularly. Cleanup is quick, and it feels much more durable and well-made than the bargain chopper it replaced. Best of all, it’s not overly expensive for the quality and performance you get. If you’re looking for a reliable food chopper without spending a fortune, this Ninja is an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Small but mighty
Compact but mighty! Chops vegetables quickly and easy to clean. Mixed my wonton filling without any issues, grinding my meat to the perfect consistency. Takes a bit to get to used how long to hold it down to process your food to the consistency you want, but I feel that is the same for most food processors. ... show more

  • I love this!
I love this! In fact this is my second one! The first one was a gift from Ninja but now my husband always uses that one to make dog food in small batches and so I had to get another one. Buy it! This is a fantastic chopper! It’s fast and you can even store your goods in the base! It’s a little noisy but it works so fast (15 sec increments) that this isn’t an issue for me. It’s very durable it’s lightweight and easy to store. My other one is still going strong after 6 plus years! Fantastic airtight lid for storage! ... show more

  • Ninja Food Chopper
I received this Ninja Chopper as a gift about 10 years ago and I've always loved the way it chops things up for me. Although it still chopped well, the rubber around the bottom was lose and kept falling off from so many uses. Since I liked it so much, I recently purchased a new one. I like the fact that it fits nicely in the corner of my counter. It's not overly noisy and blends, chops and puree's my food the way I like it. Truly a good investment. ... show more

  • Small food chopper
This is easy to use and convenient. Be aware the capacity is small, which is okay for two people. Also I haven't managed to chop anything coarsely, it gets pretty fine pretty fast. I need to not chop so much by hand since I have hand arthritis.

  • Ya just gotta get one!
Despite over 6,000 reviews already on this product, I have to throw my 2 cents in! I absolutely love this chopper. I only wish I had bought it sooner. It really opens up a lot of recipes that you probably wouldn't bother with because of the ease of use. For example--Avocado Toast. Now before I got the Ninja, I would hand chop onion and garlic and the avocado and then mix them together. It didn't take that long and was a fairly easy, fun process. But NOW, it's stupid easy and almost instant. You just pop a garlic clove, 1/4 of an onion and an avocado in the chopper (I also add salt, pepper, and lemon juice) and it's done in seconds. I spread it on the toast and voila! Delicious Avocado Toast--better than any avocado toast I've ever had in a restaurant. Some of the coffee shops charge like $15 for avocado toast and this is WAY better! And a heckuva lot cheaper! And SUPER FAST! I also make snowballs or shaved ice with it--literally takes just a few seconds. I chop smaller ice cubes in the Ninja and then pour the syrup over it. I made Vanilla/Ice Cream flavored syrup out of simple syrup (water and sugar boiled then cooled) and a couple of drops of vanilla extract. I think I might go make one right now LOL! It's so easy! I also make smoothies--again, it couldn't be easier. Ice, frozen fruit, fresh fruit, juice and out comes a tasty, healthy smoothie. I just ordered some Moringa here on Amazon to add to my smoothies--that Moringa is good stuff if you haven't tried it. Black bean dip--again, so easy! Wash a can of beans, put them in the Ninja chopper with 1/2 an onion, a clove of garlic, jalepeno if you have it, salt and pepper. Maybe add a few tablespoons of water to make the dip softer and smoother. Boom! Great black bean dip. Some people pan fry the onions and garlic in oil before putting them in the machine. Could go either way...... I could go on and on with the recipes. Hummus, Chicken Salad, potato salad, bread crumbs, hash browns, sauces, dips--you name it! And it's so fast! The next thing I want to try is a Mint Julep. I'm going to put mint, ice, and simply syrup into the chopper, then into the glass with some bourbon. Sounds good, right? Look, for $20, this might be the all time greatest NO BRAINER! Yes, I could see the potential for a tiny amount of food getting caught in the motor housing, but that hasn't happened to me so far, and it looks like it would be a snap to clean if it did. Speaking of cleaning--this thing is a breeze to clean. I literally just rinse it off after using and it's ready to go for the next mini-project. If you do any cooking at all, I highly recommend the Ninja Express Chopper! ... show more

  • Thoughtfully designed, powerful, perfect
We were looking for exactly this and there are not many of this kind -- a hand-held type chopper with a compact form, not a "mini" appliance type food processor with a base that takes up a lot of cabinet room. This is shaped like a large can or bottle and sits right in the pantry next to those. It handles garlic and nuts flawlessly. We like the clear container and especially the lid for that, which has a flip-top over the hole in the middle that lets you keep it covered to store in the fridge. ... show more

  • Great Chopper but Learn to pulse lightly
So I had a GE chopper that is similar in design that was 20 years old that had the plastic part crack so I figured lets see whats out there. The price seemed reasonable, especially if it will last me another 20 years. What a difference 20 years has made. This chopper is so much better in so many designs. I have only used it for a few things but all of them tested great. I did not even bother to read any instructions. Just rinsed it off and started chopping. First threw in a handful of almonds. Almost instantly it turned them into almond dust. Not sure what to do with almond dust, i threw in stick of softened butter and a few drops of honey and a few seconds later I had almond butter. Tastes pretty good. You could do this with cinnamon and sugar and butter and have great spread for toast.. Then I figured i would try it out on ice. Just in case you are not supposed to chop ice i used crushed ice from fridge. In a few pulses i had snow-cone ice. Or just finely crushed ice for any ice cold drink like a coke or margarita. I chopped some onions for an omelet. Instant onion relish. I even had leftover hamburger that i heated up and threw in it with a few squirts of mustard and i had a hamburger dip. The only thing i would say to new users is that it chops like really fast. If you want chopped nuts for ice cream or candied apple just one or two light pulse and look at the nuts. if you hold it down for more then 10 seconds you will end up with nut dust. Same with anything. If you want lightly chopped onions like for hot dogs, just a few pulses. If you hold down for long you will end up with onion relish. I has some left over broccoli that I mixed with onions and some seasoning and a little sour cream and made a great tasting dip. i like stevia drops for sweetener. I wanted a sweet chocolate low sugar treat. I added in almond milk some powdered cocoa and some stevia drops up to the top blade. added a little crushed ice and blended it. in seconds I had a sweet low calorie chocolate drink. The blade goes in and out easily. Be careful cause if you don't watch what you are doing when handling it will likely cut you. The container with anti-slip bottom is great. You can take what you chopped and close the top and throw the entire thing in the fridge. As far as durability who knows until you use if for a few years, but it seems pretty sturdy and easily cleaned. I have watched the Ninja commercials for years. Not sure this is the same company, but this thing really is great. Going to enjoy making so many things. Thinking of so many purees and soups that it will help make. ... show more
