  • Excellent food chopper
Excellent food chopper that works well for chopping vegetables and vegetables like onions. It is easy to use and clean, with a compact size that makes it perfect for smaller jobs. I find it gives back very good value for money.

  • Ninja Food Chopper
I received this Ninja Chopper as a gift about 10 years ago and I've always loved the way it chops things up for me. Although it still chopped well, the rubber around the bottom was lose and kept falling off from so many uses. Since I liked it so much, I recently purchased a new one. I like the fact that it fits nicely in the corner of my counter. It's not overly noisy and blends, chops and puree's my food the way I like it. Truly a good investment. ... show more

  • The little processor that isn't kidding.
Instead of bringing out the big food processor (I love that too!), this is a beauty to dump on the counter, throw your items in, and process away. I made dressings, salsa, and processed tomato sauce. Nifty and good price too.

  • Thoughtfully designed, powerful, perfect
We were looking for exactly this and there are not many of this kind -- a hand-held type chopper with a compact form, not a "mini" appliance type food processor with a base that takes up a lot of cabinet room. This is shaped like a large can or bottle and sits right in the pantry next to those. It handles garlic and nuts flawlessly. We like the clear container and especially the lid for that, which has a flip-top over the hole in the middle that lets you keep it covered to store in the fridge. ... show more

Ninja products for preparing and cooking too are some of the best appliances you can get and worth the prices. I had bought one of these many years ago, but lost it after the move to our new place. This machine allows you to chop vegetables and other foods at your own pulse power. Longer pulse, meaning if you press and hold the top longer, will achieve smaller chopping. It is powerful, very easy to use, and easy to clean with caution. All blades are sharp and this is no exception, when it comes to rinsing the blade or cleaning, but this small chopper wonderfully does the chopping and gets rinsed smoothly. The bottom rubber base is very good in keeping it in place, and blades chop in seconds. People often think smaller choppers are not worth the money, but this one gives you a very good amount chopped and done for meal making and more (See the size next to the 2-cup measuring glass) Cut harder and longer vegetables, like carrots before putting in the chopper. Remember this one is a small chopper and you can fit the right amount in the container if you cut the vegetables a little. Don't forget to put the lid on before putting the motor top and start chopping. We are very happy with this chopper. ... show more

  • Great little chopper, but...
I really like this ninja food chopper, as it takes down food prep to only a few minutes for healthy cooking. It takes just a few seconds to take large pieces down to pulp or liquid. I love to make sauces in it, or chopped vegetables for a dish or salad. It is very easy to use, simply plug it in, and put the top on and press the button down (the button takes the strength of one finger to hold down- as shown in the photo). The base has a rubber ring on it to keep it from sliding around, and the blades are very sharp and rotate to cut the items inside. I love that the base has measurements on it, a place to put a date if you are storing it in the fridge, and a lid for easy storage. The only downside is that it can be difficult to clean the top of the chopper. I have added pictures to show what I mean. I have to take a q-tip and a toothpick wrapped in a small amount of paper towel to get in the grooves to get food out. It gets food in it every time I use it (no matter the amount of food). However, using a q-tip dipped in a small amount of rubbing alcohol or a toothpick has proved useful and has kept my chopper clean. Just something to think about if this is a problem for you. Otherwise, this is a great little chopper and gets the job done. ... show more

  • This is a very good and versatile chopper !!!
First, This is a long winded review, I am over 60 Dad who loves to cook and bake and now lives alone with just my dog (Lucy). I do have two wonderful adult boys who are out on there own. I bought this a few years ago because they would come over for dinner without any warning. They really looked forward to our meals together whether it was a big spread for dinner or some delicious waffles for breakfast. It never mattered what time of day it was, they knew when they were here I would prepare something delicious. But I found I needed a chopper to speed up my prep time !! They enjoy my cooking because I take the time to make my food, unlike many who open cans or boxes and we’re never taught how to cook or bake. I have had this for a couple of years, I originally bought it to chop up some veggies, and to speed up my prep time and it did a great job. At that time I was enjoying cooking and doing quite a bit, and trying to make everything from scratch. But as time went by the kids had moved into the fast lane of life and I have no regrets, but making a big dinner for one (me) just got to be too much. So my little chopper started living in the pantry (I actually forgot I even had it). I want to mention that I have a full sized have a Cuisinart Food processor, but to get it out of the pantry and to actually use it, was just a pain. It was too big for what I needed. I also want to mention that I also have a little Havanese (Lucy) who is my more than just a dog, she is my companion/friend. So recently Lucy got sick, still not sure what is or was wrong with her since I am still treating her. I had done a lot of research and had put her on a rice and boiled chicken diet. This works pretty good, but cutting up the cooked chicken was not really doing what I needed. Then I remembered this little chopper. I got it out of the pantry, cleaned it up, and put it back to work. It really does a fantastic job of cutting up the chicken and at the same time blending the chicken and rice and some of her dry food together. Fantastic!!! Problem solved, now she eats all of her food, instead of just finding the chicken and pushing the rest out on the floor. I am already coming up with some other uses for this little chopper. And if it get worn out or if it develops some cracks, whatever, I will just get another one. In fact I may just get another to have on hand. I see a lot of comments about cleaning the area up where the motor sits on the lid, what I do is put about 3/4 cup of water with a couple of drops of dawn, then run the machine for a couple of seconds, ta-dah everything is clean. A quick rinse of the base and a paper towel to dry up my by the gear and I am ready use it again. ... show more
