*i just got it today, so ill update as time goes on.* so far, installation was very simple. security tape and foam pieces were easy to remove. had a little trouble with removing some of the protective film, as you can see in my final image. the bottom drawer perfectly fits many upright water bottles for my employees that love cold water. havent tried the door features yet (supposedly holds 6 cans and a 2L bottle.) but im excited to try soon. not very heavy, but very akward, due to the nature of its dimensions. dont recommend unboxing alone if you have lax grip or balancing issues. styrofoam also held its own which is gr8 bc i dont like the mess it can make sometimes. ... show more

This item is very good. I have it on the loweast temp and the food is really cold. It will get a lot of ice inside if you go in and out alot. The freezer is deep and you can put a lot of items in it.

I Bought this refrigerator/freezer for my 15-year old grandson. If you have a teen, you know that they love time to themselves and gifts that allow them to try out a little more independence. For a college-aged person, it has a nice size freezer to hold a few snacks or frozen dinners. Small ice tray is not much to write home about, but it is an option. The refrigerator is nice size, one crisper drawer, two shelves and plenty of room on the door for soft drinks. This refrigerator is nearly silent! Cools down quickly, and thermostat allows you to turn the temperature up or down. One thermostat for both refrigerator and freezer. The black color looks sharp and practically hidden handles support a sleek appearance. The doors can be mounted right or left swing with just a brief adaption. This fridge/freezer works very well as an upstairs alternative to going down to the kitchen. I store water and other drinks in it as well as yogurt and snacks. I put ice packs and sometimes ice cream in the freezer. I really like that the two are separate. It seems to keep the freezer colder than when it is a part of a one door all inclusive fridge/freezer. I did days of research before I decided on this mini fridge with freezer. It's a gift so I wanted to be sure that I bought the best I could. I am so pleased with it. This fridge & freezer is well made. The fridge portion is spacious and chills up nicely and holds the chill. The moveable shelves and crisper are a bonus. You can add items to the door also, lots of space there too. As with any refrigerator, common sense says that you might not want to put too much weight in the door otherwise it may cause problems with the seal. You get a lot of space in this small fridge. As for the freezer, it is BIG, and forget the mini ice cube tray that is included you can use several regular size trays easily. And it freezes the cubes quickly. I feel that it is important to have a separate door for the freezer, like this one, otherwise nothing will freeze well. Been there done that! For me this is the best mini fridge with freezer and is going to make an awesome gift. The silver finish with black trim is classy. It arrived dent and scratch free. I wanted to test it before I gift it so I let it set upright for 48 hours before I plugged it in. 24 hours is recommended. Be careful! This mini fridge will keep your food really cold haha it works perfectly. The top part is freezing cold so you won't have problem keeping stuff frozen. The bottom part also really good, just be mindful about the temperature because sometimes when I\you put it to work harder it will freeze a little bit of the stuff that is underneath the freezer.
