Like some reviews, change the placement of the knot to the bottom of the anchor, zip tie the rope to the top of the anchor, in case you get caught on a rock you can snap the tie and free the anchor by pulling from the back. The anchor itself is awesome. Rope is awesome. Buoy so far is awesome even though it's foam - we'll see how it holds up. The bag it came with is crap, lol. The anchor tore through the bottom seam just by my keeping it in the car. I'll get a different bag for it, maybe mesh. But yeah, docking a star just for that. Pretty good anchor and rope. Anchor digs in to the bottom very well. The rope as a tendency to want to curl from being wrapped around the anchor in my kayak. But over all its a pretty solid product

    • Love this thing for my SUP.
Great anchor and very portable. Used some info i found in a review for tying the rope so that if it get stuff in the weeds it can be pulled out. So far i have had no problem with the anchor not being secure or getting it out of the weeds. Love it.

Great anchor for kayak or SUP. included rope is high quality and the bag serves it's purpose. The only thing I recommend for anyone reading this is add a 1/4 inch marine grade stainless steel D shackle and a small zip tie, in order to rig it properly. See my picture for a proper setup. If it gets stuck you want to be able to pull the rope hard and break the zip tie, and have the rope pull the anchor out instead of setting itself deeper. ... show more
