The media could not be loaded. Install was easy and it is a cute way to allow my cats access into their catio. We didn't install the flap for the first week to allow them to get used to the hole in the screen and thier new freedom. Once we snapped the flap into place one cat continued to use it but found it difficult to push the flap open untill we removed the magnets that hold it closed. The other cat stopped using it entirely. The only thing we didn't like is that in order to remove the flap to get the second cat more comfortable with it, we had to take the whole thing apart again. ... show more

10/10! It is great quality, so easy to install, probably took me 20 minutes and only because I was being meticulous with the net. The magnet that holds it down is pretty strong and sturdy so it took a good while for my pets to start using it. It took around a little over a week before they started using it on their own but I wasn't being so consistent with the training. I don’t know what took me so long to get one of these but I am so grateful for this! No more mosquitoes in my house at night while my cats are out in their catio. It took my cats a few weeks to not be scared of it but with a little patience they have become experts. It opens and closes really easy and it looks really cute in the window. We have indoor/outdoor kittens. Installation was simple enough if you have a boxcutter and small screwdriver. Took the cats a few days to figure it out, but now they use it with ease. Magnets are a nice touch. No issues so far

This is a great concept, and the installation should have taken about 10 minutes - instead, it took over 1/2 hour. The device came snapped and taped together - and removing the tape was almost the most difficult part of this. They used a cheap paper tape with much stronger adhesive than needed; the result was that it took a long time to peel and scrape the tape off just to get started. I had to use acetone and fingernails to get the gooey glue off. The rest of this is straightforward and pretty easy, except that it screws together with twelve very tiny bolts with very tiny nuts - trying to line these up using both sides with one blind side and a flimsy screen is way, way more trouble than it needs to be. How about threading the holes and using blunt-end self-tapping screws instead of these nuts? Or make the hole on one side hexagonal so it seats the nut? Now that it's in and our cat is cautiously testing it out, I think it should be fine, although the weight of it along with the actions of the cat may tear the screen. I love the magnets that keep it closed; though the lock mechanism is quite tight and I'm afraid the pressure needed to move it may not be so good for the screen. This cat flap is not only cute and functional but super easy to install. I no longer have flies coming inside from leaving the sliding door open and my cat can go in and out as much as she likes :)
