Barkeepers Friend cleans the bottom of the pans well, and regular dish soap is perfectly adequate for the inside of the pans. NOTHING sticks, the heat retention is fantastic, and it cooks evenly. I haven't experienced any of the chipping or ruin that I have seen others complain of, and it has never been necessary to use anything more than medium heat. I love the look of Caraway pots & pans… Bought them about 9 months ago. They’re great for boiling, simmering, & cooking stews. But, forget making omelets or frying eggs, or making pancakes with a non-stick expectation… it’ll stick 100% of the time, except during the first 5-6 months of use. Again I love the look and I’ll use mine for all the non-sticky circumstances, but I’m changing to a less expensive brand for cooking breakfast so I can simply dispose of after the non-stick quality wears off… my experience is based on working with gas stoves which gets much hotter than electric and probably convection stoves tops. The picture shows the pan after being soaked for 30 mins after making an omelet. Hope this is helpful for those interested in the non-stick quality for mainly making omelets, pancakes & frying eggs. ... show more
